Wonderful AU moment. Wish it had happened that way!
Larner · 21 August 2006 · Chapter 7: Rumors
Oh, that's it, is it? Yes, questions about Frodo's honor make me ANGRY! Argh!
Author's reply

Larner · 21 August 2006 · Chapter 6: Yule
It's a bit odd seeing Esme being the hostess at the Great Smial, as Eglantine is the Thain's wife. But now I'm wondering what rumors are going around about Frodo? Sounds serious.
Author's reply
*glances back at chapter* I've been meaning to run through a few of these chapters again. I always get those two mixed up, so I may have typed it wrong. Oops! Thanks for pointing that out. God bless, Ellie
Larner · 21 August 2006 · Chapter 5: Bag End
Animals can aid in settling troubled hearts.
Author's reply
*loves animals* That is so true! God bless, Ellie
Larner · 21 August 2006 · Chapter 4: The Message
Explaining it all to Hobbits who've never dealt with the outer world beyond possible trips to Bree would be MOST difficult.
Author's reply
Indeed. So much is different than what they're used to. God bless, Ellie
Larner · 21 August 2006 · Chapter 3: Deputy Mayor
It is a difficult thing to appreciate, I think.
Larner · 21 August 2006 · Chapter 2: The Lockholes
Poor Daisy and May, not having much of a chance ever with the object of their desires. But at least they've found Fredegar and Lobelia and Will Whitfoot.
Author's reply
Poor girls, indeed! Lol. God bless, Ellie
Larner · 21 August 2006 · Chapter 1: The Scouring of the Shire
Glad others are also exploring this time. And explaining to the Gaffer would indeed be difficult.
Author's reply
This is a rather difficult time to write about, but I've really enjoyed it! God bless, Ellie

Queen Galadriel · 16 August 2006 · Chapter 25: Home
Safe in his guardian's arms, yet still afraid. Yes, in his place I'd be disturbed, and if I were in Sam's place I'd worry. But he is held in stronger arms than Sam's, arms that will never fail. LOL! Loved seeing those two blindfolding one another! LOL! I've been blind from birth and consequently never bothered about it, and recently had the delightful opportunity to blindfold my mother and lead her around. I made her walk mostly by herself, or tried too, though by the end she was clinging to me. She was perfectly terrified! LOL! Honestly I felt kinda bad, though, because she was so scared when there was absolutely nothing to be afraid of; I was right there in front of her and wouldn't have let her stumble or fall. Oh! What a wonderful idea, to make Bag End Sam's birthday present for Frodo! I'd never have thought of that! Poor little Wanderer. And is there a wedding just around the corner, hmmm? :) I can't wait! God bless, Galadriel
Author's reply
Glad you liked the blindfold! LOL! That's funny! I'm sure your mom knew you wouldn't let her fall. Hmm, wedding? I love weddings! Drinks all around! (pardon, i'm in a pirates of the carrebean mood) Yes there will definately be a wedding around the corner! (and everyone is invited again!) God bless, Ellie
harrowcat · 23 July 2006

Antane · 14 July 2006 · Chapter 25: Home
Yes, a very nice present indeed! Home at last! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Antane · 14 July 2006 · Chapter 24: A Not-So Expected Party
I already reviewed this, didn't I?, but I must have missed a lot because it was like reading again for the first time. It was only at the end that I realized that I had read it before. I love the idea that somehow Frodo was aware of Sam's birth and it gave him joy amidst the grief of losing his parents. I firmly believe it was no coincedence that Sam was born that year. Iluvatar takes care of His own. Very sweet chapter. Glad he enjoyed himself! :) Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
Author's reply
Yes you did already review, but I'm glad you enjoyed it a second time! I've always thought that somehow Frodo knew when Sam was born. It was too big of an event for him not to have known! Thank you very much for reviewing again! God bless, Ellie
Antane · 18 June 2006 · Chapter 24: A Not-So Expected Party
Good he had some cheer - love leading a blindfolded Sam to the party and the kiss on the forehead at the end. I do wonder what the gift is. And what Sam wished for, but of course, you can't say... Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
Author's reply
Love seeing Frodo happy!!! Well, I would say you'll see what it is soon, but I'm going away on vacation for three weeks, and don't have the chapter typed up yet. But I shall post it when I return. I can't say what Sam wished for, or it might not come true! lol! But of course we know pretty much the only thing Sam wishes for, right? God bless, Ellie
Antane · 18 June 2006 · Chapter 23: Despair
Oh, I love this whole chapter! So much love. Sam not even taking off his cloak before he checks on his dear, holding him so long, I love you, wiping tears, Frodo admitting his heart and soul still longs for the hated thing... Well, I could go on but then I'd quote the whole chapter. Too bad human love, even as deep as Sam's and you can't get deeper than that, was not enough to heal such terrible hurts. But there is grace ahead. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
Author's reply
*blushes* Glad you liked it, dear! (I cried when I wrote it.) God bless, Ellie
Arwen of Lorien · 16 June 2006 · Chapter 24: A Not-So Expected Party

Author's reply

Arwen of Lorien · 16 June 2006 · Chapter 21: Iluvitar
YEEAAHH! I am finally getting back to the story! Yes, this sounded good after our looong (and awesome)trip @ the Capital. Yeah! A letter from me!! Yes, sounds like somthing I would send him during his harder time. *wipes tear* Alright, know I must finish and get to the one dedicated to me!! *Happynes*... *Goes of to read rest* God bless! Antane · 9 June 2006 · Chapter 22: The Thirteenth
I'm glad Frodo knew the comfort of One who loves him even more than Sam does. The poor dear, hating the Ring so much and still longing for it at the same time... I hate that he had to leave but sometimes only Divine Love can heal when human love cannot no matter how much it wants to and tries to. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
Author's reply
Thanks for reviewing! yes, even though he did have to leave, it's comforting to know that he would be healed because of the One. Glad you liked this! God bless, Ellie
Antane · 9 June 2006 · Chapter 21: Iluvitar
Prayers and love are the most powerful things on earth - Frodo certainly had plenty of both. Thanks for this. :) Namarie, God bless, Antane
Author's reply
Amen to that! You are quite welcome! God bless, Ellie
Queen Galadriel · 9 June 2006 · Chapter 22: The Thirteenth
Oh, Ellie, this made me cry, both of these chapters. Oh, poor dear! *hugs Frodo* He tries, but it's so hard...and it's heartbreaking. I lovelovelovelove this story! And I love the inclusion of the book! How perfect! (You might want to check the chapter numbers, though. This chapter is shown as twenty-seven instead of twenty-two.) Can't wait to read your Findulas story too, but it's almost three o'clock in the morning here, so better get to bed. God bless, Galadriel
Author's reply
Ah, how rude of my computer! I could have sworn I clicked 22. Oh well. I'm so glad you're liking this! Wow, you're up late! I'm so glad you like the book parts in here, that's kind of what's keeping a story line to this, and I think it's fun to do! God bless, Ellie
Antane · 29 May 2006 · Chapter 19: The Night Before
What love, what love, what love! The holding of Frodo's hand, the massaging - trying to help the physical pain, and the assurance that he didn't fail - trying to help all the emotional agony. I just love your Sam to death, because he's such a dear help and loving presence! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
Author's reply
That scene actually came to me as I was typing it up, and I didn't even plan on it. It just seemed to fit. I am glad you like it! God bless, Ellie
Antane · 29 May 2006 · Chapter 20: The Wedding
Frodo needs a hug? Glad to oblige! ) He's going to get so many from so many, he won't know what to do! *hug* *hug* and *more hug* I'm glad he and Sam were able to comfort each other though after their fearful nights. What love! Namarie, God bless, Antane :)
Author's reply
I knew you'd want to hug him! I'll bet there's going to be a line of people wanting to, and you and me will be at the front of it! *hugs Frodo and you* God bless, Ellie
