In reply to Estelcontar: giving the mumak to Elladan and Elrohir would probably be worse than keeping it. Just think of all the mischief E. & E. could do with the mumak! Though Aragorn would have to keep it, and probably shortly Eldarion will be not only able to think like his uncles, but act like them, too!

Reminds me of Théoden at Helm’s Deep. “So it begins.” First the orcs and co. arrive, then it starts to rain, and then, after all the talk about The Hornburg not falling yet, etc., the walls are blown up—and so forth.

Gondor needs no king.” But “I need you. Your father needs you. Gondor needs you.” to Faramir. Faramir and Boromir are complete opposites in this: Boromir thinks they need no king; Faramir, on the RotK, thinks they need no Steward. Also nice coming right after the previous where Estel chooses Athelas.

Awwww…the similarities between Faramir and his parents and Colin and his parents.. Both fathers trying to hide their love, pretending they don’t love their sons, each deeply in love with their wives, both morn her after her death and in this case, lock her garden.., For both an unrelated girl discovers it and decides to tend it.

Aragorn stabbing the Eye through reminded me of him stabbing the Mouth through. Oh Wait, he cut of the head. Éowyn stabbed the Witchking’s mouth/head through, and beheaded the fell beast. Well, that is what it reminded me of, I could almost see it in my head.

Awwww. I wonder how Eldarion and Eleniel will be when they grow up? Or rather, different stories throughout the years. Like, what will they do when they are 8? 15? 21? And actually, yes, seeing them be twins when they are older than that… This is the first of the line of twins where one of them is a girl. Also, wouldn’t Faramir have young children of his own? Might he not not want to go to the meeting?

Heh! Eldarion throws tantrums, I love it! Everyone always writes him so perfectly behaved but I like this take on him... it feels very normal and natural. And I like the way Aragorn is handling it, thanks, evidently to Faramir's wise counsel. And I like your new name!

Hey Cair (yes, your new nickname!), As you know, I have a sister who is 6 and will be 7 in few months. She is the most well-behaved child I have ever seen... and even she has tantrums from time to time. I figure that Eldarion and his siblings, especially when they were younger, would have the same issues. :) Even the most well-behaved children have tantrums! And thanks! :D
