This was both a heartwarming and heartwrenching story which I enjoyed immensly. I dont lie when I say I even cried sometimes of the strong emotions you put into the story; Estels big heart, his trust and the interaktion with his family, all Imladriselve, the Silvans and especially I was moved by his relation with the Elvenking Thranduil." King Adar"😄❤️! I also read when Estel was obducted by the twisted Quentar and it was also a very emotional story. My motherly love bursted in this story for the little tiny King. All parents can somehow relate to this story.

I enjoyed this story. I could not stop reading it. This author was very creative and should be able to publish it, though you don't own the characters. Keep writing.

WOW!!! That was an incredible saga! I've been reading it for a week every night after work and thoroughly enjoying every word. :) Your depictions of all the character are truly wonderful, fully formed and, I think, true to Tolkien. I love how you developed the characters of Glorfindel and Erestor and Thranduil...marvelous! I wonder if you are writing any more? I would really love to read more of this, especially the continuation you mentioned in the epilogue. I wonder how Estel comes to terms with his humanity and what his reaction would be to finding out that his family already knew it and loved him anyway. I hope to see more of your stories in the future!
LisaG · 10 May 2010 · Chapter 15: The Meeting - Part Three
Absolutely hysterical ending! But my favorite line was Estel asking Legolas if he dropped his spoon!

Quick note: Istari is plural; the singular is Istar.
Eärossë · 25 May 2009 · Chapter 7: Thanksgiving
I would like to point out that Dúnedain are not men in general. Dúnedain is the term for the last remnent of the blood of Númenor.
Earosse · 10 April 2009 · Chapter 20: The Needs of the Many
This is a wonderful chapter, however, I have one little quibble. It's the line: "From seemingly out of nowhere a thick black arrow flew straight and true, striking Elladan in the back with a sickening thud of impact." The problem is the fact that the twins were fighting back to back. I wouldn't have been possible for either twin to be hit in the back. Please explain why.

I love this story. It's too great to say more

Anonymous · 13 February 2008 · Chapter 78: Epilogue
wonderful continuation of the previous story! Please write the next one soon. I really want Estel to be all better, though angst is good. Hopefully Thranduil and Elrohir can make peace, cause i really like your version of the king and the Peredhil. I'm waiting very impatiently for the next installment! :)

I loved this, though my family misses me since I was determined to not stop until I finished reading.

Wonderful story! I look forward to the next one
Rhonda · 5 December 2007 · Chapter 78: Epilogue
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I loved this story so much. It was the one thing I looked forward to for so long and now I await on pins and needles the next! I do so hope Thranduil perhaps will come to Imladris, or perhaps they will all travel to Lothlorien. I just can't get that picture of Haldir and the rest out of my mind and how they did not get to meet Estel. As for Thranduil I hope he can forgive, and that Estel's question about being human is answered. I also hope the next story is just as long if not longer, for it was a pure joy to read this fic. *sigh* I am still sad to see it end. I do hope the new one starts very soon.

Yay! Great job with this story. It has been extremely satisfying. I assume that we will get to hear more about little Estel soon, even if this story is done- Please! You've done a great job with all of these characters!

Rhonda · 12 November 2007 · Chapter 59: That Which is Broken
I loved each of the new chapters, and of course I am left wanting more. Your fic has dragged me into the story, making me feel as the characters feel. I cannot wait until you update again!
Rhonda · 12 November 2007 · Chapter 58: The Quality of Mercy
Once again I must say you capture the essence of wee Estel fics like not many others. A fitting punishment, considering her offense. Also considering Elrohir and Erestor are on the way she should hurry up and leave lest they do seek retribution. I was on pins and needles waiting for an update, and I am so thrilled to see these chapters. It made my entire day.
Rhonda · 10 November 2007 · Chapter 56: Help from on High
I simply adore this story and cannot wait till the next chapter. You have encompassed everything that I love in a wee Estel fic, from the overprotective Elrond to the shocking Thranduil who cares deeply for him. Please for the love of the Valar and my intense need for more, update soon!

Hello Rhonda, and thank you for such an enthusiastic and delightful review. How could I refuse such a heart-felt request for an update? :) Hugs, Cindy
Rhonda · 9 November 2007 · Chapter 35: Hunter's Moon
Did I mention how captivated I am by this fic? Truly you have captured the essence of fathers and sons, and written a beautiful wee Estel fic. Of course most of all I like protective Elrond, ready to fight to keep all in his home safe and that you have brought Celeborn to go with is even more exciting. Now I must go read more.
