Celeritas · 6 March 2009 · Chapter 16: B2MEM: March 2: Tree Duty

Yes, all that "honor guarding" must get boring after a time--especially if the tree's dead!

Celeritas · 6 March 2009 · Chapter 15: B2MEM: March 1: The Cake

If you will not grant me space in your kitchen, I will go down the valley and find a farmer's wife willing to loan me the use of her hearth. *grin* That Gilraen is a stubborn one! And a cake baked by one's own mother with love tastes infinitely better than a professional's.

Larner · 6 March 2009 · Chapter 17: B2MEM: March 3: A Queen's Duty

Sometimes the mother's duties are the more compelling--and necessary! And I, too, have seen Arwen taking part in the raising of her children much like this. Perfect! As it should be!

Larner · 6 March 2009 · Chapter 18: B2MEM: March 4: Role Model

And so perfect a role model for her to be drawn to! Yes, a wonderful image of Eowyn inspiring generations of girls in both Gondor and Rohan!

Larner · 6 March 2009 · Chapter 19: B2MEM: March 5: Regrets and Resolve

Ah--a perfect response to the prompt! Alas that they must fight their brother--but it is his own overweening pride that has brought them to this. I am sorry for Manwe, but proud of him as well.

utfrog · 6 March 2009 · Chapter 19: B2MEM: March 5: Regrets and Resolve

Powerful, powerful writing. Wonderfully conveyed pain and resolve. Thank you is not quite the right term, but I have none better. This story will stay with me.

Raksha The Demon · 5 March 2009 · Chapter 18: B2MEM: March 4: Role Model

Wonderful piece! I can imagine a lot of little girls in Minas Tirith and especially Ithilien playing at Wraith-killing, and being inspired by Eowyn, in the early Fourth Age.

Edlyn · 5 March 2009 · Chapter 18: B2MEM: March 4: Role Model

LOL! I love it, twinling! Funny, sweet, and very telling of the changes that are coming (if not right away then eventually) concerning hte roles of women in society. Brava! Edlyn

Agape4Gondor · 4 March 2009 · Chapter 17: B2MEM: March 3: A Queen's Duty

A truly blessed event! Thank you for sharing the glow left behind!

daw the minstrel · 4 March 2009 · Chapter 17: B2MEM: March 3: A Queen's Duty

Arwen is right. Those years go so quickly. She shouldn't miss them. Lovely images of mother and children.

shirebound · 4 March 2009 · Chapter 17: B2MEM: March 3: A Queen's Duty

Their childhood years will swiftly flee as minutes, hours and days go by, and all too soon they will be adults Yes, who in the City knows this better than she? This is lovely, and very realistic.

Kaylee · 3 March 2009 · Chapter 17: B2MEM: March 3: A Queen's Duty

Not right for one of her rank? Hah! A mother is a mother, no matter what her rank, and this Queen follows the duty of her heart rather than the expectations she has been given. Lovely, meldenya! A touching piece to reflect on as I head to bed. :) ~Kaylee!

Agape4Gondor · 3 March 2009 · Chapter 16: B2MEM: March 2: Tree Duty

I love it! *claps hands in delight* 'bored out of my mind' - I've had that job - I know I have!!!!

Agape4Gondor · 3 March 2009 · Chapter 15: B2MEM: March 1: The Cake

Oh my! A very bittersweet moment. I loved it all.... (especially the going to a farmer's wife for help *giggles*)

Agape4Gondor · 3 March 2009 · Chapter 14: CROOKED: Talking with Atto

Ah! A lovely lesson indeed... and I somehow like that it reminds him more of sunrise...

Agape4Gondor · 3 March 2009 · Chapter 13: CHILD: Young Ingwion Asks a Question (a double drabble)

Ah! I had read this somewhere before, but it is still as 'enlightening' as the first time. *giggles*

Agape4Gondor · 3 March 2009 · Chapter 12: WOUNDS: Olwë's Grief

This is lovely. I seem to have misssed a bunch... I love the 'new' perspective on that time. It seemed to incredible that Elwe had abandoned his people - what were they to think? What was his brother to think? Only death - it would seem - could keep him from his people... but no..........

Larner · 2 March 2009 · Chapter 16: B2MEM: March 2: Tree Duty

I am still laughing to think we had identical responses to the prompt! We are two of a kind, obviously!

Lady_Roisin · 2 March 2009 · Chapter 16: B2MEM: March 2: Tree Duty

I really like this drabble a lot. I like how the character's dream is to guard the white tree. You go into the details beautifully without a whole lot of words, but enough to really convey the way the character feels. I also love how he finally gets the job, and he ends up being bored out of his mind. I love the message of this, that sometimes what we think we want most isn't really what we think we want. It reminds me of that saying "Be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it." Great job! Keep up the B2MeM drables. I'm really enjoying them. :-)

Antane · 2 March 2009 · Chapter 15: B2MEM: March 1: The Cake

What a cute story! Love the ending. Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Larner · 2 March 2009 · Chapter 15: B2MEM: March 1: The Cake

Ah, so appropriate, Rhyselle! Love that she wanted to do this herself.

Raksha The Demon · 2 March 2009 · Chapter 15: B2MEM: March 1: The Cake

Just a lovely little fic; and perfect for the subject matter - we see Gilraen's resolve and independance of spirit; she isn't going to sit back and let the Elves make this special present for her child. And we see that both Gilraen and little Estel still mourn Arathorn and are perhaps not entirely at ease yet in their new home. The ending is delightful; so typical of a small child, be he a little prince or any three-year-old boy; and I love his being in Elrond's lap; a small but telling touch about the Master of Imladris' love for his little mortal foster-son.

shirebound · 2 March 2009 · Chapter 15: B2MEM: March 1: The Cake

What a lovely birthday fic for Aragorn. :)

Larner · 22 February 2009 · Chapter 14: CROOKED: Talking with Atto

Glorfindel has a wonderful reason to remember the love the Creator shows to all of us, for none of us is perfect, of course. And this is beautiful in color, and is useful as it is, after all! Thanks for this one!

Sunny · 22 February 2009 · Chapter 14: CROOKED: Talking with Atto

"To remember that something--or someone--doesn't need to be perfect to be loved." Lovely!!
