Nightwing-- I'm very sorry to read about the cancer. Peace and strength to you. You've given me many happy hours of reading. Thank you.

I was reading this on fanfiction.net and you mentioned you were also posting on this site - I sure hope you finish this. It's VERY well written & interesting!

I can't tell you how excited I was to see new chapter notifications for this story! The new revelations about Ramhar are very interesting and have definitely left me feeling like our protagonists – like I'm really not sure what his next move will be, I just know I don't trust him for a second! Legolas's arm definitely worries me. And I can't wait for them to catch up to Malcovan. He seems almost omniscient if not quite omnipotent, but they're right that they've traveled with a very powerful wizard and seen his weaker, more human moments, so that can give them some insight that might help them in dealing with this guy. I'm dying to see how it plays out! Thanks for continuing to share!

ReaderKit · 30 March 2015 · Chapter 52: What Tomorrow May Bring

Fun chapter; I am happy you finally got it to cooperate. I like the fun details you added: 'The Thinker,' Legolas warning Rambar about his horse, etc. Yay for bringing back the warrior braids! And Coll is going to be trouble, isn't he?

Loved it! And was SO excited to see another chapter. I just love your attention to detail and talent in making it so rich and layered. Can't wait for the next installment!!!

Winterwitch · 26 March 2015 · Chapter 52: What Tomorrow May Bring

Yay, Legolas braided his hair! :o) I'm so happy to see him finding another piece of himself back, and I love how proud and able he looks when they set out! And now I'm so curious what is going to happen in that cave!

Winterwitch · 26 March 2015 · Chapter 51: Where You Lead

Great chapter! Ramhar and his un-ensorcered behaviour is very believable and felt very real, but it must have been very difficult for them all to finally deal with him. Having Legolas in the small company is understandably a difficult thing, and I really liked how you dealt with the issue. The part with the owl flight and only Legolas noticing it was great. :o)

Good for you Legolas!! Blind or not, still a force to be reckoned with. As always excellent writing. The building tension is driving me crazy. lol

Winterwitch · 25 March 2015 · Chapter 50: Lilac Wine

I can't say how happy and thrilled I were when I saw you were continuing your story! ♥ I read the new chapter (49) right away, really loved it, and then got sucked into fest writing and obviously forgot to review, as I can't find it here or on FFnet. So I hope you'll forgive me if I keep it at that and continue here with the next chapter, which I equally loved. How nice Arath is getting more screen time - he is a great character, and it's a comfort to know it was he who had watched over the two friends, and helped them in so many ways. Aragorn's observation about Ramhar are very interesting, and I'm looking forward to how that part of the story unfolds. But my heart goes out to Legolas, who now has even more that weighs on his mind, and that strange injury to deal with. You're describing what goes aroun in his mind, and what he feels, so clearly and palpably it's very easy to get into his skin, and experience what he must feel and think here.

But when it came out, it did a wonderful job of it. I keep hoping Legolas will regain his sight. When the final chapter is written, I plan to start reading again from the beginning. Until next time, thanks for a great chapter.

I've been waiting a long time for you to continue this story. I love that it is an entirely unique and original work. I can't even tell you how excited and happy I am that you are finally coming back to work on this piece! Hopefully the next chapter won't be so long in the coming!

Lindelea · 24 March 2015 · Chapter 52: What Tomorrow May Bring

I understand and empathize with long delays in postings. Some chapters nearly write themselves, while others have to be drawn out slowly, painfully, word by word. This one was worth waiting for. Three of my favorite parts: A pale light had dawned, growing steadily in the eastern sky as Aragorn wound strips of cloth through his horse's harness to mute the jingle. It was a morning of frost; the dried grasses glittered as the slow rays of the sun settled upon them. A blackbird winged swiftly overhead, its calling voice thin on the winter air. Masterful description. Pulls me right into the scene. I feel almost that I am there. The description of Legolas and Firestar... wonderful! This: "Indeed. And I have had other names for you too." "I'm sure of it," the ranger said, eyeing his friend thoughtfully. (made me chuckle. The sound of friendship) Oh, a fourth favorite part: Legolas' observation about the wolves! Tightly written, sets the scene, ratchets up the tension. Looking forward to more. I was glad to read this update.

Keep going with the story, I like it alot!

Eordemaeg · 15 February 2015 · Chapter 43: Love is the Answer

I have been reading this story for around 5 hours straight since this morning, and only restarted on this chapter about half an hour ago. I have to say that, with all respect to J.R.R. Tolkien, the tale seems to me like it was written by him — that is how good it is. I have nothing but praise for this work of yours, please do carry on with it! In the meantime, I shall go on to the next chapter. :)

Keeter · 12 February 2015 · Chapter 51: Where You Lead

Will there be any more of this? I'm so invested in this story!!! Please, please write more!

Marianel · 10 January 2015 · Chapter 51: Where You Lead

Im intrigued by the foul brew Malcovan gave to Rahmar and that Rahmar dislikes proper wine. He must be feeling what we call drug abstinence symptoms! What people on drugs do for more drugs never cease to amaze me and neither when it comes to how ruthless the bosses of the dealers and the addicted are! Malcovan is the big criminal boss here! Sundering friends and families. I hope Aragorn and Co get their hands on him! I must say it again how much Arath is one of my favorites:) Keep up the good work!

Tari · 9 January 2015 · Chapter 51: Where You Lead

I really enjoy reading this story. Perhaps when it is done I will reread it intact.

ReaderKit · 7 January 2015 · Chapter 51: Where You Lead

Okay, this is incredible. Not only engaging, but how realistic you write shines through. I love how you have gone through the stages of Legolas dealing with blindness, and done it in such a way that both honors and empathizes with those who have this affliction. And I am thinking that his being blind will prevent him from falling to the sorcerer, which is a fun twist. Love it all!

Windsinger · 6 January 2015 · Chapter 51: Where You Lead

Oh, I am so glad you are continuing this story! It is one of the best I have read and I check for new chapters regularly. Love the new challenge you are leading Aragorn and Legolas into. Thank you SO much for this story!!!!!

Naledi · 6 January 2015 · Chapter 51: Where You Lead

Happy New Year! I'm always excited to receive a chapter update for TSAW and now I'm left wanting even more, because you've really ramped up the tension. I like the idea that Malcovan used some kind of drug or enchantment to keep Ramhar under his control. I almost felt sorry for him when Legolas pressed him to see the truth and Ramhar was unable to believe that Malcovan had forced him to believe a lie all these years. What a terrible thought that he's now doing the same to the boy (sorry - can't remember his name!)I hope Aragorn and Legolas manage to find him in time.

Linda Hoyland · 6 January 2015 · Chapter 51: Where You Lead

I'm so glad you are continuing this. The tension continues to rise. A very exciting chapter.
