Goodness! Where are they going? This hardly seems like the right way for Pippin to show Diamond's family how responsible and serious he is, but love does strange things to people. Ah, romance... :)

"Very Important Things" was an understatement! Wow, you managed to fit so much into one chapter, and not make it seem crowded. I was nearly crying! (Of course, that may have had something to do with RotK playing in the background!) Now you've got me wondering where they're going to run away to! It would be really great if they held the wedding in Gondor (I had Pippin joke about this in one of my stories, lol), though I suppose Merry and Sam (at least!) would be slighly upset by this. What an absolutely wonderful and beautiful story. Honestly. The emotion, your display of characters, everything. It breaks my heart to see someone as meek as Diamond going through what she's going through. And Pippin. Ack! Such a lovely way you write him. So romantic. *Sigh* Hehe. He kissed her hands again, his eyes bright with tears and longing, burning into her soul. Oww, okay, pain. Beautiful, dearest. Can't wait to see more!

Oh, that was so sweet! Poor Diamond :( But at least you're into the most important year now. It can't be too much longer before the wedding happens (or so I hope :P). Good to see that Di's finally found someone she can trust to tell. I just hope the Opal keeps her promise. You're forgiven for the big break between updates, but if it happens again, I may not be so forgiving ;P lol

This was written so well. So emotional. It made me REALLY wish that I was Diamond during that intense kissing scene :P. Good job!

Another wonderful chapter! And more Merry interaction ^_^ always something I like, I loved the line Merry said about swooning to Pippin and when he handed Lily over to him he said, 'Here, hold this.' Very Merry. Poor and Diamond though... well update soon! Great job.

I just found this story and read every chapter fearing the time when I would come to the end of one and not see that welcome Next link. Now that I've arrived I'm just as sad as I expected to be. I am very much enjoying this story and hope you will continue to write it and update often. I feel so sorry for Diamond having to hide her relationship from everyone and my heart hurts for Pip. He's missing his love and mourning for children he thinks will never come. Thanks for writing this. I can't wait to see what happens next! Kristy

I know, I hate lying to my parents. And I'm sure things will work out for Pippin and Diamond eventually, but I'm disinclined to say when... O:) Hehe, Estella should take a day off and make the lads do all the domestic work! Though I'm sure they do help her out here and there... ;)

All right, everyone together now: "Awww . . . *sob*" Another great chapter. And that first half was chock-full of good lines! "I don't know how they do it in Rohan, but knights of Gondor do not swoon." And, "Right again! And whose colors do we like best?" "Gondor!" Pippin snorted while Merry hurried to correct her, whispering, "Rohan." "Rohan!" But my favorite was, 'He set his daughter on Pippin's lap. "Here, hold this." He then walked out of the kitchen in search of his wife. ' "Here, hold this"? Only a guy could come up with a line like that! You nailed him. The relationship between Diamond and her mother is interesting; I hope you're going to develop that soon. And I love the hobbit names -- they're perfectly "Tolkienish"! Le Rouret

Glad you liked those lines! I've had a lot of fun putting Merry and Pippin in a "family men" situation. And hopefully I'll have time to develop that mother/daughter relationship more. I'm *very* glad you like the hobbit names! For me, thinking up a good name is probably the most difficult part of making a new character, especially with the hobbits. I mean, there are only so many decent flowers and jewels to choose from! It's always great to hear from you, you leave wonderful feedback. :)

I liked Lily saying her favorite colors were Gondor's! I guess Merry is going to have to work on her loyalties! :D Poor, Diamond maybe it isn't too late for her to speak to her mother, or at least for her mother to become more involved in her life! Looking forward to more, thank you!

Oh, this started out as such a happy chapter, and it ended so sadly! Not that it makes it bad, I just felt like crying at the end, like Diamond did. I hope you were telling the truth about the next chapter coming soon - I really want to see what happens next. (Of course, that's hardly any different to how I felt after the reading the rest of the chapters in this story :P)

This is wonderful! I love Merry especially, as he is my favorite character, and even though his appearances are somewhat short in this fic (as obviously Pippin and Diamond are the main focus here ^_^ ) you still portray him excellently. Continue soon, great job!

Thank you! Merry is my second-favorite LotR character, so it's always nice to hear good feedback on how I write him. And he'll have a pretty major part to play in this story, though yes, the focus will remain on Pippin and Diamond. Still, you can't have a story about Pippin without a good deal of Merry involvement, right? ;)
