Kitt of Lindon · 27 April 2004 · Chapter 18: Strength of a Woman
Oh, yes. Poor Boromir is in deep, deep trouble.

Kitt of Lindon · 27 April 2004 · Chapter 18: Strength of a Woman
Oh, yes. Poor Boromir is in deep, deep trouble.
Kitt of Lindon · 27 April 2004 · Chapter 17: It All Goes Up In Smoke
*uncontrolable laughter* Legolas sort of deserved that after being such a smart ass. Lesson here is that you're better off not smoking. And I sense trouble for our good rangers and Gondor man...
Kitt of Lindon · 27 April 2004 · Chapter 16: Battle Lines
Ah, Legolas agread with a Dwarf and a Dwarf saved his life all in the same day. How shall he live with himself now?
Kitt of Lindon · 24 April 2004 · Chapter 15: The Hobbit Wizard
Good! The hobbits escaped! They certainly are tricksy and the Crebain certainly...dumb. Gandalf is lucky Shadowfax didn't rip his whole beard off. What would a wizard look like without his beard?
Kitt of Lindon · 24 April 2004 · Chapter 14: A Slip of Tongue
Well, Gimli certainly took that appology too far. Ah, your Gloin is a just Dwarf. But Gimli just had to mention the Queen...poor Legolas. Haha! Borofara, and Borofara the Kidnapper no less. Malbeorn certainly is a wise one.
Kitt of Lindon · 24 April 2004 · Chapter 13: Arda Hath No Fury Like an Angry Glorfindel
Ai! Certainly Glorfy isn't Legolas' father!! Ah, Boromir's got an admirer. A screaming and burned Gimli certainly makes a satisfying piture. At least Glorfy didn't kill Legolas.
Kitt of Lindon · 24 April 2004 · Chapter 12: Silver Is the Color of Hope
I liked the part with Gandalf and Shadowfax. Certainly Shadowfax needs deflating. Hopefully the hobbits will escape soon.
Kitt of Lindon · 24 April 2004 · Chapter 11: The Brilliance of Legolas
Oh yes! Legolas is truelly brilliant! Poor Gimli...falling for Legolas' trick...I almost feel sorry for him. But Legolas is in a lot of trouble now, I assume.
Kitt of Lindon · 24 April 2004 · Chapter 10: To Kill a Dwarf
Hahahahahahaha!!! I mean...poor Gimli.
Kitt of Lindon · 24 April 2004 · Chapter 9: One With the Animals
I love the way The One With The Stick speaks with the animals. So how shall The Thing be retrieved?
Anonymous · 24 April 2004 · Chapter 8: Fight or... Fight
Legolas is going to become the next Gollum if he doesn't stop talking to himself... And poor, poor, poor Merry!!!
Kitt of Lindon · 24 April 2004 · Chapter 7: November Rain
What a just father Gloin is. And Gimli deserves it! Throwing a rock at Legolas...harumph.
Kitt of Lindon · 24 April 2004 · Chapter 6: The Lion and the Gnat
I wrack my brain and I find that I truely haven't read one were the orcs and wargs fly off with anyone. Heh, poor hobbits... 'Bilbo felt the icy grip of despair close around him. ‘You may have me, O Elf Lord,’ he thought furiously, ‘but I shall not go without a fight!’ “Do your best, Lord Elf!” he cried, “But I will never tell you where they are! You will never find them! Never!”' -That part had me laughing. Hard. I like your explaination for why Thrandy sent Legolas to Rivendell. Your Legolas is a true rogue.
Kitt of Lindon · 23 April 2004 · Chapter 5: Flight From Rivendell
*nearly dies of mirth* Oh, this chapter was too funny! Gandalf's slinking, Boromir being 'tricked' into going west...but most of all, the hobbit's misunderstanding. They are really in trouble now. (No, no!, Gimli, bigger cheese.)
Kitt of Lindon · 23 April 2004 · Chapter 4: Just Add Water
Poor Boromir, he seems to be a nervous reck. Now it is Legolas' turn, poor Legolas, Gimli should have been nicer and just thrown rotten cheese. Things truely aren't starting out too well for this Fellowship.
Kitt of Lindon · 23 April 2004 · Chapter 2: THIS is the Fate of Middle-earth?
Ai, what has Legolas gotten himself into? I suppose Gandalf is a rather poor influence, (and a bit nosey, I admit.) But what does one expect of someone with so long a nose? Anyway, I liked how Sam was being teased, poor Sam... The leaf scenario was clever, but poor Frodo!
Kitt of Lindon · 23 April 2004 · Chapter 1: Disagreeable Characters
Not often do I find authors that make a mention of who Gimli's mother is. Actually, I've never seen an author that mentions Gimli's mother. Poor guy... And poor Gloin, he's getting too old for such rage.

You may not remember me, but once, long ago, I reviewed this tale. I had not, I believe, as yet finished reading it, since the review I left was simply made to mark it for later. It was some while before I finished reading it, and it has been some while since then, but let it now be said: I am truly, truly impressed. This story is incredibly amusing. It is well constructed, well paced, and endlessly rewarding. You have a very fine sense of humour and a great wit, and when coupled with your extensive knowledge of the canon and storytelling skills, the result is incredible. What I would like to do to further laud your prowess is to nominate this story for the Mithril Awards 2004, in the category of Best Humour/Parody, as well as, perhaps, Best Characterization-Ensemble. I would also like to nominate you personally for the Best New Author category, provided that you have not posted any fanfiction prior to April 1 2003. I truly think that you are deserving of this honour. I also considered nominating your Notes_From_the_Field for Best Parody, but since the rules permit me to nominate only one story per category, I shall prevail upon some other author to do so for me. The thing problem, however, that to nominate you at all requires that I can provide the Judges board with an email address to contact you with, which I can not, unfortunately, find at any fanfiction site where I can find you posting. If I have your permission to nominate you for these Awards, I'd be much obliged if you could send me a message with your email address as soon as possible- nominations close May 9, 2004. My own email address is hiro_tyre@msn.com. I look forward to hearing from you soon, and good luck with the Awards.

You have the same story on fanfiction! I'm reading in ff.net right now so I should know! Well not right now but well.... you get the point!
JULES · 19 February 2004 · Chapter 5: Flight From Rivendell
I just had to tell you that I read this story up until this chapter - and was laughing heartily in certain parts. But I totally lost control with the message that began from Elrond and got to that poor confused fool from the twins and then to Frodo. Just laughed and laughed at the chaos that I could see ensuing from such a mistake. Thanks for the wails of laughter - still laughing. JULES
Shinko · 26 January 2004 · Chapter 6: The Lion and the Gnat
Ai! The poor hobbits! One wonders where they are being taken. Nice job! Just for the record, crebain is not singular. It is the plural form of the word craban, meaning crow.

...I have been rendered speechless by that...masterpiece which you have so kindly graced the screen of my computer with. Thank you! That was undoubtedly the best story I've ever read. Wait, listen, is that applause? Cheering? Why yes! It's a parade!!! And who do we have in the lead? Glorfindel, Punk'd Elves and Beardless dwarves! Followed closely by Ant es Sauron and Master Stub! Not to be outdone, we have Borofara and Uglish! The Dark Lord Elrond and his Dark Advisor Erestor. “Lez Elves day Mohntahnyeh.” Rowgond, the Hollin Beauty and her Ladies in waiting! Magic Woodelves and Bilbo! King Thranduil and Prince Lhûn, who is on the-only-ship-ever-to-sink-on-it's-way-to-Valinor float. Very impressive. Ah, here is Meddlesome Mithrandir! And the Bear! Mysian the Terrible and Fearsome Fenadochers! The Shiny and Clueless Crebain! Merry the Minstrel and Slingshots! And bringing up the rear, most finally, and last (and certainly least) we have (drumroll) Shadowfax the Light of the World. And wait, do my eyes see that clearly, is it, no! His admiring crowd of does!!! Thank you, this parade has been sponsered in part by Orcs. "We are good for something." Donations from Sauron Dark Lord, and Saruman his Puppet. The One Ring Electronics wished to thank Mushrooms Inc. for the food, and Galadriel for the music. Wow, I had way too much fun with that. Keep writing or I will send this massive crowd of people, Elves, Dwarves and Hobbits, (and animals) to haunt you. Estel_Mi_OLor
Bakoneko · 21 December 2003 · Chapter 9999: Epilogue: Put a Fork In It
I thoroughly enjoyed that story. =) Along with your others that I've read so far. You have a very creative mind! And though you may not always handle the characters with the greatest of CARE... you definitely know how to turn a good story without running roughshod over their canon personalities. Moreover, I never cease to be impressed by the amount of research and dedication it takes to be a good LOTR fanfic writer, so anyone who actually puts the necessary time and effort into it deserves high praise indeed. Very nice work! I about fell over laughing when you explained how you came up with the name for Faelerons. In roleplaying recently, I had to come up with an Elvish name for a plant, and I called it Feiler'en--using pretty much your exact method of derivation, since it was a healing herb--relief. ;) I enjoyed all your entries in the Guide of Imaginary Middle-earth Species, especially the chapter titles. And, several chapters after the fact, I'm still feeling sorry for the poor squirrels and spiders. ^_^; May I have them, if you're finished with them? I promise to keep them separate and make sure they're warm and fed. And when the spiders grow up and start getting unruly, I'll release them into a federally protected giant spider preserve. Seriously. There's one right by my house. I'm looking forward to the next chapter of marinus stiria!
Nerwen Calaelen · 9 October 2003 · Chapter 99999: Author Acknowledgements
A very good story. Very funny, but with some serious sections. I enjoyed the humour, but enjoyed the story overall, and found your description of the forest was very moving.
Miriel · 1 October 2003 · Chapter 99999: Author Acknowledgements
A truly magnificent ending. Although the humor struck me as bizzrae at times, I lived every word of it. Yes, I believe that I share your oddball sense of humor. :) I shall take good care of Shadowfax until he is again needed. I really hope to see more of your writings. Thank you!! ~Miriel
