Nice to see Eomer and Lothiriel less at odds. She is very tough to endure such a journey. Eagerly awaiting more.

That's not to say there isn't more conflict to come! Thanks a lot for reviewing. LBJ

I am not really used to romance stories using Tolkien's characters, but I find myself enjoying this and even looking forward to the next chapters. I have to admit I didn't really pay much attention to Eomer, both in the book and in the movies, being too fascinated with Elves. I like the way you portray him here, however, and he does seem to fit the infuriating but very attractive guy (even if he is not exactly dark...as in tall dark and handsome), who just conveniently happens to be a victorious war hero, and with a crown and a kingdom to boot.
Thanks for sharing this story. Looking forward to the next chapter!
Author's reply
Great that I am interesting you in something other than elves - as good as they are. Eomer really has got a lot going for him so I don't want to make Lothiriel too easy a conquest.
Thanks a lot for reviewing. LBJ

Enjoyable chapter. I would say that Lothiriel has upheld the honor of Dol Amroth admirably.
Author's reply
So she has. But I couldn't let her do anything else.
Thanks a lot for reviewing. LBJ.

I love this. Eomer and Lothiriel don't know what they are getting into. I have the feeling the whole family is matchmaking. Too many coincidences and convenient helpers.

That was a great chapter, I'm still chuckling to myself. Poor Eomer, set up by the old man. Go Imrahil.

Richly drawn story. I love the way you characterize Eowyn. I hope she and Lothiriel team up on Eomer. At least as long as they are together in Minas Tirith. Can't wait to see how the sparks fly between Eomer and Lothiriel.
Author's reply
Thanks. Eowyn and Lothy are very different but seem to hit it off. Poor Eomer!LBJ

You capture Eowyn perfectly.Eomer seems too like his sister in lack of manners, but maybe he improves when you get to know him like she does. Eagerly awaiting more.

He doesn't improve for a while - but then I always imagined him as rather proud. LBJ

Ah - good to see that Éowyn and Lothiriel have befriended each other - they could make a formidable pair if they put their minds to it, I think.

Hmm, that encounter didn't go so well. Let's see how this will progress. I love the way you set the scenery and the mood for this story. I never thought about where all the horses would end up after the battle. A discussion about 'horse-dung' in the streets? LOL.
Author's reply
I have always had a bit of a thing about how they dealt with the horses. They would have needed to feed thousands of horses and thousands of men. Tolkien sometimes missed the practicalities. LBJ

This appears to be as great a story as many of your others. I really like your different take on what was happening between Cornallen and the coronation. So many changes had to be happening. Thanks.
Author's reply
Yes, I have always wondered about the practicalities of installing a new king and dealing with the huge amount of Rohirrim in the city. Not that the story is really about that but it was in my mind. LBJ
