Ah, Ron! So glad they have you! Thank you for the new chapters. I can clearly hear Fiondil's "voice" in this chapter, in particular, shining through. It is interesting to begin to pick the dream apart, try to figure out which parts were the hijacking and which were the originally intended dream. Have brewed up some very good coffee and set it out, along with organic cream and a variety of sweeteners, at the Cliff House.

All of the authors' pages have been restored, and thank goodness! This is a delightful interlude for Glorfindel and Daeron, a chance to work with children for a week. Wonder how the children would respond if Glorfindel were to tell them about his adventures during the First and Third Ages? =)

elrondion · 6 September 2016 · Chapter 32: Elf Camp

fyi: fiondil's author page has been completely restored.

Life is full for them all, and both Glorfindel and Daeron are indeed healing well, both physically and emotionally. Delightful camp!

Larner · 6 September 2016 · Chapter 31: The Blooding of Daeron

I am glad that Glorfindel is seeking confirmation of his dream--most reasonable. And Daeron does deserve his new status. I don't blame him for not waiting the full time before washing out the blood--it could prove most disturbing for many of the parents, although most of the boys particularly would think it cool.

Thanks so much for presenting this story. It's good to see Glorfindel having some fun for a change.

thank you for publishing on an american holiday. much appreciated. physically has been a terrible week so this was very uplifting. lovely chapter as well. nice to see the interactions with the children. thank you very much.

What fun! Back when I used to run the kid's summer Day Camp at Michaels Arts and Crafts store, I could sure have used a few Elves for back-up! But yes, way fun and way exhausting. A child's joy of accomplishment when creating something or learning a skill is delightful and palpable. And to the one who teaches those skills there is a double pride: the teacher can be proud of her/himself for successfully communicating to the child, and the teacher can be proud of the child for learning something new. There really is no feeling like it! I am so enjoying this story! Thank you for keeping it coming!

Jenniem · 5 September 2016 · Chapter 32: Elf Camp

Thank you. It was good to see that the children of Wiseman enjoyed themselves, and that they see the Elves as good friends, and even playmates, instead of something to be suspected and shunned. I bet the parents were glad to have their children occupied so well for a week. The summer holidays can be very long.

obsidianj · 3 September 2016 · Chapter 31: The Blooding of Daeron

That was an interesting part of father's day celebration. Poor Daeron, he seems to be more of a quiet type that doesn't really want have all the attention, at least now. I wish we could get his full story. But alas that will now never happen. Why did Elrohir go to Vorondur to ask permission to take some pictures for Glorfindel? Is there something else going on? He might think Glorfindel is a bit strange with that dream of his, but what harm is done checking some facts?

obsidianj · 3 September 2016 · Chapter 30: Regression

So, finally we are back at the beginning and the loop is closed. Now at least some people know about what Glorfindel was dreaming. The question now becomes what to make of it. I hope Gwyn and Gareth can shed some light on the situation.

obsidianj · 3 September 2016 · Chapter 29: Back in Wiseman

Finally, Glorfindel is ready to do something about his dreams. Let's just hope that Vorondur can help him. I had to laugh at all the incredulous looks when the different adventures were told.

Well, who'd a thunk it, Maia having a sweet tooth! (Not that they need to worry about the calories!) Can't say I blame Glorfi for wanting confirmation of his dream though, just why Elrohir has his knickers in a twist over taking them escapes me though. I think Dearon deserves his Warrior Braids, as Eonwe says there is more than one way to be a warrior. Lynda

Hm, things are starting to get interesting, I can't wait to see just what excuse the brothers come up with for not telling Loren and co about the artifact! By the way you can access the other stories by going into 'search', clicking on the authors name and clicking go. Lynda

Larner · 23 August 2016 · Chapter 30: Regression

Well, apparently they do have some time to prepare to deal with matters. Good!

Sunny · 23 August 2016 · Chapter 30: Regression

I think all the Valar are making deep, relieved sighs just about now. Glorfindel is a force to be reckoned with at any time, and with his dreams literally driving him crazy, they must have been nervous indeed - that in addition to the dream interference was throwing a spanner into the works of their planning!

Kaylee Arafinwiel · 22 August 2016 · Chapter 30: Regression

And the thick plottens, as I've heard it said. *snicker* Thanks, Beta Amiga nettenyar, for another of Atto's thrilling chapters. I love Ron in psychologist mode. Well, I love Ron all the time. He's much better than my bio-ada Ron...*cough* Anyway. I wonder how Gwyn and Gareth will react to this dream, once Glorfi confronts them with it... Well, I'll settle in at the Cliff House and wait to see. There's sherry and wine out for those who can drink it, as well as coffee for those who want it - since none of those describe me, I'm sipping a mug of hot chocolate. August it may be, but that chilled me all the way through. And Jenniem, it's nothing to do with Fiondil particularly. There's some kind of weird glitch affecting all the SoA author pages, so far as we can tell. Hopefully whatever's gone wrong can be fixed up soon, it's been going on for at least a week, I think. Tye-melin, nettenyar, Fiondilie, and Atya, much love to you beyond the Circles of the World.

Jenniem · 22 August 2016 · Chapter 30: Regression

Thank you for posting this next chapter. I hope everyone survives Loren's regression. By the way, is anyone able to tell me what has happened to Fiondil's back catalogue? I've been trying to access it, but get only a blank page. Of course, if it is his family's wish for them to be removed, I will just have to accept it, but I loved re-reading them when I felt the need to be cheered up.

ainisarie · 21 August 2016 · Chapter 29: Back in Wiseman

So uch catching up to do. Ladies, you are doing a fine job keeping this going. Fiondil would be proud of you. Anyone remember Lily Zhang from elf Academy? There is a US table tennis player named Lily Zhang at the Olympics

Larner · 15 August 2016 · Chapter 29: Back in Wiseman

Physical exercise can, after all, help moderate emotional turmoil. Certainly Glorfindel has reason to know emotional upset at the moment! Am glad there is the chance to work with Vorondur so soon.

UTfrog · 15 August 2016 · Chapter 29: Back in Wiseman

Very good transition chapter. Poor Glorfindel can't catch a break anywhere. Glad help was nearby. Everyone seems to have returned from various trips with interesting adventures to share. I so appreciate all the hard work going into keeping this wonderful story going. Thank you.

Sarah · 15 August 2016 · Chapter 29: Back in Wiseman

I'm getting the impression that Someone/Something isn't pleased by the idea of Loren agreeing to do the regression after all. Hm. I think the next chapter or so should prove very interesting. I got a bit of a chuckle out of the Buffy reference. I wonder what the Amigos would think of some of the other shows I used to watch (Firefly comes to mind. WESTERNS. IN SPACE).

UTfrog · 9 August 2016 · Chapter 28: Alex in Vala-la-land

Since someone asked, my favorite is chapter 11,"What Child is This" in Christmas at Edhellon. Fiondil did such a great job explaining Christian faith. We had a brief discussion via the review.

Larner · 9 August 2016 · Chapter 28: Alex in Vala-la-land

Well, that was a surprise to all, and no mistake! to quote our dear Sam. I suspect that the Elves attending the Council are for the most part finding their expectations completely upside-down. I don't blame Alex for being angry with Namo, but Namo is certainly big enough to take it with a good bit of delight! What an exhibition of what mortals--and perhaps Elves as well--are capable of learning to do with their bare hands!

Celeth · 8 August 2016 · Chapter 28: Alex in Vala-la-land

Hahaha!!! I have always adored Elves...but Alex Grant is definitely one of a kind. Ingwe is right, he is a lot like Glorfindel. And oh, I so loved this chapter. I loved the way Alex showed them, and told them off, too. Fighting Maiar, and three at a time too, is something very few Elves must have ever done (except for Glorfindel), much less defeating/"killing" one. I'd love to be the fly on the wall in the next session of their Council. But as for Alex, I hope he will be OK. I guess Namo will take care of him, make sure he gets no harm from what happened? And I do hope a Maedhros gets his wish and travels to Middle Earth soon.
