Summary: The choices we make for the sake of a friend. Can be either Aragorn's or Legolas' POV.

He will do anything to protect his friend even if it meant giving up his own life. All he had to do was to pick up the cup and down the liquid within. He looked into his friend’s pleading eyes, begging him not to do it. Yet he had no other choices. Picking up the cup, he emptied the content into his mouth. The poison burned his throat and set his body on fire. He heard someone screaming his name as he fell, hitting the cold, hard ground. ‘He is alive,’ he thought before his world dimmed and faded away.
