It is 2941. All manner of peoples come to Imladris seeking lore. Young Estel meets one of them and a lifelong love affair begins...with pipeweed. This short story is set the timeline of my main story “The Heir Apparent” about Estel growing up. In a slight change to canon timeline Estel meets Gandalf when he was five and living in Rivendell.
