Boromir's Prayer, While Running
Please, let this not be my tomb. I do not fear death; as often as I have looked it in the eye, it has turned away, blinded by the glint of sunlight on my blade. Do not make me die in the dark. When I die, let the kiss of the sun be the last touch on my skin; the whisper of leaves, the rush of water over stone be the last sounds I hear. Let me take my rest under the boundless sky. If, by ill-fate, I am doomed to wander, please, let it be under the stars. For the "Tomb" challenge. |
