Dear friends and readers,

It is with great sadness that I must tell you that To See a World will not be completed. In June 2015 I was diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer. Despite extensive surgery and many months of chemotherapy, the cancer has recently returned. It is now considered to be incurable.

Writing TSAW has been one of the great pleasures of my life, and I hope that you all enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed creating it. I am sorry that it will remain unfinished.

Rest assured that all would have been satisfactorily resolved: the evil wizard defeated, the child rescued, Ramhar would have regained some honor – really, Legolas’ health and vision restored, and he and Aragorn would have made it safely back home.

The world of LOTR fan-fic has been a great place to play. Keep on having fun.
