I knew years ago that I couldn't leave things the way they were at the end of "To Have or Have Not".  It was sad and showed a possible bleak future for both Pippin and Diamond and I knew that couldn't be.  They really love each other and could rise about their own moments of self centeredness to become once again the couple I love to write about.  Also, I had at least one person strongly request a better outcome for them.  We'll see where this goes.

I don't know how long this story will be or when it will be finished.  I'm doing something I rarely do by posting while still writing.  I'm hoping that this will push me to keep at it.  It worked for the last story.
