| *snort* *snicker* *guffaw* Oh, this is priceless. So very, very priceless. And as yet another American writer trying to approximate Tolkien, thank you for a wonderful laugh! Absolutely hilarious. The contrast in tone between the affected hobbits and the rest of the Fellowship is brilliant, and the characterization is excellent. At one point I wondered if Legolas sounded *too* formal, but while taking a closer look, I realized it was simply masterful juxtaposition. And the base idea for this story was inspired. Do you realize what an original piece of humor you've got on your hands? I'm so grateful I stumbled across it, and I will be watching eagerly for more updates. Thank you for such a treat!
