Lindelea!

"Most of their time together seemed to be washing and drying dishes. They would lift their voices in song, and often hobbits passing near the house on wedding business would stop to listen for a moment or two. The happy couple were glad that so much food needed to be cooked and served--and washed up after--in those busy days."

So happy....

BTW I have ordered the Michael Parry book. It arrives next Tuesday!

***back to our normally scheduled review*** Hee-hee!

At your advisement...waiting for the other shoe to drop...

Oh! I hope you enjoy the book as much as I am enjoying it! I know some online reviewers thought the author put too much personal opinion into his writing, but I've found good food for thought, perfect for pondering further, in some of the connections he's made. I admit, I haven't read all the way through the book yet.

They are such a happy couple, it nearly killed me to write the next few chapters. If I hadn't outlined the story all the way to the end, I don't think I could have finished it.

Thanks so much for reading and for taking the time to leave a review!

What a festive time! So many people and so much to celebrate!

Author Reply: This was one of the hardest chapters to write, knowing what was about to happen. I was sorely tempted to break away from canon and make the story AU. Aargh.

Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment!

Light, happy and jolly! I love Tad, he's adorable :-)

Author Reply: Yes, I love Tad too... just can't help it!

Thanks. Glad to have you along for the ride.

Alas, I hope that song won't backfire on poor Merry! Although we know SOMETHING did! Heh!

Just awakened by a pack of Pomeranians greeting the grandsons, just back from the store. Hope Zoë doesn't do the same for you. Worked last night for a colleague so that he will work for me Friday evening, although I have to spell him for a few hours Saturday morning. Hope the Fourth was pleasant for you and yours.

Author Reply: Yes, indeed!

My writing partner is quite vocal, not yappy but deep-voiced as befitting her size, yet she lets herself be heard... We had a wonderful Fourth, thanks! Went to one of the smaller local rivers to cool off and managed to keep the little ones in life jackets the entire time, whew. (Lots of people have drowned in that little river... deceptive as it looks, cool and inviting, it must be quite treacherous in reality.) Saw the huge fireworks display from a distance that did not involve huge crowds of people, and got to bed before midnight. I'd say it was one of our better Fourths, even if the little hobbits didn't get to set off their crackers until the next day.

Ok, right now I am getting anxious that all this happiness is heading for a fall in the next 24 hours as you say this isn't AU. But I am lapping up the happiness.

Author Reply: *sigh* Very astute. All I can say at this point is, Live in the moment.

Whew.
