| It's the "ruins of Isengard" and Frodo had the Ring for 17 years, not just two. I think Frodo would be more alarmed at seeing his old uncle with a ring still, even if it's not the One. Author Reply: Yeah, that's one of the inconsistancies I'd like to change if I ever decide to come back to it. I kind of wrote it before I read the books, so, that's why there are inconsistancies.
