I love the image it presents. ^_^ As to the idea of quitting smoking...you know that today various fads arise pertaining to health and so forth - "The Pork Diet" could possibly be one someday. ^_^ But those sorts of things have been going around ever since forever, I think, and so the idea of quitting smoking is (in Middle-Earth) probably just that: a fad that most people don't believe or fall in with. | Now this little story is shaping up nicely. I love reading *other* folk's take on the famous conspiracy. I particularly enjoy the changing POV, from one to the other. You've captured all their voices very well. Author Reply: Thank you so much, Dreamflower! My dear beta has told me many times that I'm doing a good job, but I sometimes have a fear that she's a bit biased. ^_^ Even though I know she isn't. There's only one or two chapters left - I have to decide whether or not to do a "Frodo" chapter. It would probably be just him and Merry talking before they go to sleep on the night of the "big reveal". But I might not do that. XD We'll see what happens, eh? ~Rosie-Ann | |
