| Well look at that, would you! It's a literal cliffhanger! (sorry, I couldn't resist) I can't imagine what the howlers could be. Or why they're interestedin Legolas. Author Reply: I couldn't have resisted, either, though to be honest, it wasn't planned. It just worked out that way. I could say that anyone in their right mind would be interested in that gorgeous hottie of an elf, but that would be a little ridiculous (or maybe not). The answer will turn out to be very simple. | It's a squirrel. Having a tea party. Or - maybe not. At least they are all hearing the howlers now. There's a lot of potential for disaster here. What with howlers and chitterers and shadows and dark figures and ice and snow storms - there's a lot that could happen. And probably will! Looking forward to more. Author Reply: Shucks.
