| Very nice characterization, and I like the way you translated the uncertainty of the ocean into the uncertaintly of raising a child. The lack of beta didn't leave many errors, but I spotted one sentence, "Oh, he wished it was." where the tenses didn't seem to match the sentence before. Forgive the nitpick, the story is charming! | I was skimming through the Silmarillion today, and came across a number of passages showing where Cirdan fought with Turgon and Fingon, and where Finrod came to his aid. I had forgotten how much Cirdan had to do with the sons of Fingolfin and Finrod. Anyway, the more I think about it, I think of how hard it had to be for Fingon to send Ereinion away to the Falas, where I am sure he hoped the child would have the most chance of growing up. Cirdan may wonder why him, but I was strangely comforted today in what I read that he was a good choice. I hope he found young Ereinion a good lifelong endeavor. Are you going to continue this - the council for more Little!Ereinion fic wants to know :) Author Reply: Thanks, Nilmandra.
