| This part of the story has finally started sucking me into it. Up to now, I was having trouble with the history parts, at least a little. I hadn't realized just what the hobbits went through after the fall of Fornost. I'm not sure why or how I overlooked the fact that evil had ever tried to overcome the Shire before Saruman. It's been slow, but this story is definitely growing on me. Looking forward to more. Connie B. | |

| I do like Bucca. This must be so worrying for him. I deduce that some of them emerge safely - but he doesn't know about the descendents. I hope the snow works in their favour. | |
