It was easy to be brave when she did not understand the depth of the sacrifice." - MW Isn't that so true? We never think of the consequences of our impetuous actions until it's behind us. They say hinde-sight is 20/20. And the "memorizing"...lovely. Pippin's doing a bit of "memorizing" in an unnamed story...but that is for another time. The conversation in the shed between Sam, Merry, and Pippin was delightfully lighthearted--something I definitely enjoy after all the dramas I've been reading and writing lately!
