| Frodo the Matchmaker! Now that his five minutes of tweenage rebelliousness is over, he's ready to return to being the sweet, delightful boy he usually is. I love that he wanted to help Poppy before returning to Bag End! | Bilbo delt with Frodo's misdeeds very well and I really can't think of much to say on that other than it was perfect for the situation and the hobbits involved. I like that Maggot seemed to respect Frodo even though he had stolen from him. Frodo's little bit of match making was great! What a sweet lad! I hope he does tell Bilbo what he did, I am sure that Bilbo would find it amusing and all. Poppy and Alar just needed someone to get them hooked up! Thank you for the next installment! | Frodo opened it to find a parcel of very fine writing parchment. I always smile when I think about how Tolkien gave his heroes Bilbo and Frodo a love of reading and writing. Now we pen-and-ink types have our very own role models, and our special niche in the heroic universe, plying our trade amongst all the others who are enlightened enough to understand that some good writing paper is absolutely the best gift of all. Well, I am happy to see that Poppy got her man. She deserves a wonderful marriage. Are you going to do something with Alar's promise to Frodo? I am glued to the monitor waiting for your chapters with noble angst, h/c, and loving Gamgees. Please write fast! Congratulations on another wonderful chapter. | Very clever! I doubt I'd have the courage to ever try "matchmaking", but Frodo has a good head on his shoulders. One thing he's truly learned, if nothing else, is that it's "not good to be alone in the world." Author Reply: Yes, yes! :) | |
