How touching! I loved it! You genuinely showed the love and bond between father and son. This was very well written and very realistic (I never forgot that this took place in Middle Earth). I could only imagine how frightened Thranduil was or how excited Legolas was about the situation. Thanks for sharing this wonderful little fic! This was a response to the HASA challenge to show Thranduil in a positive/true to canon light, and after seeing too many Psycho!Thranduil stories, I sure couldn't pass that challenge up There isn't much information on Father!Thranduil, but it seemed to me, based on what we know about him, that he'd be stern, but a loving father.
