I DO remember this one, and can't think why I didn't respond. The courage given by example and caring is always sweet. Author Reply: Thanks very much! This is one of my earliest stories, I'm so glad you enjoyed!

Oh, how perfectly sweet! I could see this so clearly in my mind, little Pip's fear and Merry's reassurances, and the part where he ran to Merry and burrowed into his big cousin's side was just so darling. I love stories showing the affection between these two, and this was a lovely, heart-warming glimpse of the love they hold for each other. Author Reply: Thanks very much! This was one of the first ones written, and I wanted to show that cousinly love and protectiveness that you speak of. I'm so happy that you enjoyed it! :)

Oh, too precious! What a wonderful cousin our Merry is, seeming to know instinctively what to do and say around little Pippin. Keep these up, please, I do so love these postcards! Author Reply: These ficlets were tucked away in my LJ, and I thought they were too short to post on their own so I decided to group them together. I'll post new ones as I write them. I'm glad you enjoyed the postcards - thank you so much for commenting! :)

Too cute and so like Merry to help out. I also love your title for these stories. Author Reply: Thanks! I usually have the worst time trying to think up titles. This just sort of came to me - I think there is a book or film called "Postcards From the Edge" and it just sort of lended itself to these very short stories. I'm glad you enjoyed them - thanks for commenting! :)
