| Poor Paladin. At least Eglantine can hope he is safely at Bag End. It's just as well the Shire was such a safe environment, because Pippin is very trusting. I hope he's not lost for too long. Author Reply: I guess that Pippin probably wouldn't be so trusting if the Shire wasn't so safe.
