Don't get me wrong, but the conditon of the heroes (especially Legolas)- as it was plainly pointed out over the last chapters - simply doesn't work with humour. It might be true that it's a "man's thing" to cope with serious situations by laughing at them, but it seems kind of odd to find it right after the rescue (or interim solution since there are more perils ahead). Though I have to admit that Legolas' sentence 'if they will ever be out on a trip without getting into serious danger' sums up the story poignantly. |
