| "It’s just...I feel so out of control, and it frightens me. How can I take care of Pip and the others when I fall to pieces every time I have a stupid dream?" aww~! Aragorn and Merry talking was written oh so well and it truly is a big step to distinguish between the SHadow-touched dreams and regular dreams. I really liked how Aragorn was so insistent about talking in which Merry is more reluctant... i love your Aragorn and Merry interaction in this story and that is indeed a highlight of the entire story... Suddenly, Merry became aware of a certain glint in Pippin’s eyes. One he hadn’t seen in a long while. Not since Rivendell, he supposed. "What are you plotting, Peregrin Took?" he asked suspiciously. The twinkle was quickly extinguished as Pippin put on his most innocent face before replying. "I’m sure I don’t know what you are talking about, Meriadoc Brandybuck, and it’s a fine thing, I must say, to be suspected of plotting by my own dear cousin." So sweet~ and so glad that Pippin is his normal self again~ lol--suspected of plotting that is such a sweet detail to put in. :D Pippin innocent? really? ;) "I thought about naming her after you, but she is far too pretty and sweet-tempered to be saddled with such a name." lol! That was so funny i literally laughed out loud in RL. :D So funny and..yes i just love it. :D I love the darkness of this tale yet the lightness and the interaction you have between characters is oh so perfect. This is definitely one of my favorite stories because i always wanted a gapfiller of what Merry thought when he had to deal with all his kinsman being injured from the War and the Quest... | So much to love in this chapter! Aragorn's talk with Merry, Pippin having watched over Merry most of the night, Merry learning to fight the Shadow, Eomer's understanding, Pippin's joy at Frodo and Sam's recovery, the "shoving" match, Merry's conspiring to get Pippin to take a nap (even though he was really in need of one himself!). I was right! You finished the story during that busy period when I wasn't able to read anything. Author Reply: Thanks! | I love this story! Along with Recaptured, it's one of my favorite fanfiction stories I've ever read! Excellent! Like Sam, I don't like to give up, so I must ask you, yet again, is Merry over the shadow yet? Lol, =), and great job! Author Reply: I love your persistance. | Wow! The excitement in the camp over the recovery of the Ringbearers was done well! you could feel the excitement of while you read! I'm so glad they are all almost together! Well at least Merry is able to realize which dreams are Shadow tainted. Hm, I'm wondering how this whole fighting the dreams things is going to work. Really nice... Poor merry,his nightmare's are of the shadow effect,but he now can tell the difference in them and the ordinary nightmares. Aragorn is still worried,and says he will teach merry how to fight these. Sam and frodo are soon to awaken and pippin is on the way to his full strength. Pippin is plotting, I wonder what of.
