| This is a charming story, warm and gentle and full of understanding. I love that Bilbo took it so well and even offered Merry another chance at reading the book. And I especially like how detailed Merry's memories of the incident were. Very nice! :) |

| This was absolutely marvelous all the way through. I'm so glad to see it finished. This is exactly the kind of conversation that I think not only could have happened during the stay in Rivendell, but *did* happen. Merry is basically too honorable *not* to have confessed all to Bilbo. And Bilbo is altogether too practical not to forgive him for it--lovely job, wonderful gap-filler! |
