| O VWD! The glimpse you give us of spies and rabble-rousers makes me shiver. Of course we know what Paladin's doing, but anyone can be painted in the worst shades if he's not there to defend himself. Ah, yes, and Saradoc... you can just see his care of his people, and Esme's. Poor Pippin! But I'm glad the Travellers have had time to heal from their injuries before returning to the Shire. They'll need their health and strength. Thanks! | |

| Oh dear, things are ebing stirred up against Paladin now! Also I'm curious as to what is going on with Freddy! Pippin's dream was a bit disturbing, not just a nightmare of what he has seen but what he can't see. I hope that they return soon, I was trying to figure out when they got home but I can't right now. | I can see things not getting any better in the Shire--getting worse, if anything. And that trouble-maker, Grigory! You're doing a fantastic job of portraying the Thain and Master's difficulties in governing their respective lands during this time. | I loved the talk as to whether or not the Thain could be trusted. Very good descriptions and all of it rang true. I also think it's only fair that Pippin is now being drawn to Esmeralda. The Shire needs them to return and it is Pippin's turn to see things that he can't be a part of. Lovely chapter! | |
