| Ann, now you are making me laugh! You know, I read an argument somewhere about whether there would be tea in Gondor and thought, "Well, of course there would be -- it's just that it would be herb tea instead of black tea!" If a society has hot water and herbs, there will be tea... And you were inspired to write this drabble by the brown-clad errand-runner of UPS! LOL! Branwyn Author Reply: whether there would be tea in Gondor Why the heck not? It's not like Middle Earth is in some galaxy far, far away... Eowyn's life in Rohan would have been much simpler, rustic - it's a pleasure to think of all the new scents, tastes, sensations that Faramir would have introduced to her (other than the obvious, of course!) | |
