| Poor little Pippin being so patient! And poor Merry, wretching all over the place; the young lad is feeling horrible, I know. Loved the bit where Pippin sneaks to pull a bit of Merry's hair then shoots back to his chair when his mother comes through the door. Great chapters! Pippinfan Author Reply: Hullo! | The technician over-the-phone has me using the laptop to see about the overheating issue, and so I am stealing a few moments to read at SoA! Ah, what a lovely picture we have of Pippin caring for Merry, and it is delightful to see things from his young eyes, through his own experience with illness. One can almost see him screwing up his little face in sympathetic distress as Merry chokes down the foul-tasting medicine... And then his becoming "trapped" and unwilling to stir his cousin to pull himself free, and so heroic, what with being hungry and everything! Very nicely done, and I look forward to reading as much more as time and the technician will allow. Author Reply: I`m glad your computer is working again. It`s no fun with computer problems. | “What are you thinking about, Pippin-lad?” Eglantine had noticed how her little energy-bundle of a lad had suddenly grown into this quiet child. That he would not leave his Merry for all in the world did not surprise her, but his care and tending of his older cousin, Pippin’s behaviour so quiet and considerate, was an eye-opener. She knew they were devoted to each other, and had seen Merry behave similarly towards Pippin, but seeing it the other way around was new to her, and she was proud of her son. | Very nice...They call in the healer,but she isn't overly-concerned... Pippin gets worried at the sight of her as he has had frequent visits from her. He has a fever but says that isn't unusual. Pippin sits and trys to help Merry through this illness,and ironicaly gets his hand trapped.(Very amuzing) His mother arrives to help him out and a talk. Nice work, continue soon... | aww i love the interaction between Eglantine with Pippin at the end.. and i love the fact that Pippin's hand was stuck between Merry and the pillow~ awww~ :D hope the healer is right about it not being a bad illness... but i feel that with h/c fics, healers tend to be wrong. ;) keep this up~ i really like it so far. =) (will we get Merry's point of view soon? ;) =) Author Reply: Thank you! I can`t say much or I would spoil the story but there will be some from Merry`s POV too. :) | |

| I just read the last two parts. :) Keep going!! I love how Merry is being cared for lovingly, but you aren't overdoing it. great balance of characters and comfort and sickness and everything.
