| I was looking for this episode, and am delighted you included it. There must be angst somewhere, or the story doesn't ring true. I love how you tied Drogo's fears to the river, being by the river when he speaks - it makes you wonder if his son's precognitive dreams might have in some part come from his father. The foreshadowing is skillfully done, and diverting it into fear from a miscarriage brilliant. Author Reply: To be honest, I have never thought of foreshadowing in this chapter until you mentioned it. I always wondered where Frodo has his dreams from and so far I'm still convinced that both his parents gifted him with this ability. | |

| ich shcreib mal auf deutsch. So eien niedliche geschihte. Eine gute idee das du von den gefühlen von frodos eltern schreibst befor Frodo geboren ist. Ich ahbe mir auch shcon imer gedacht das Frodos muter Probleme gehabt ahben muss ein Kind zur weld zu brigen den Frodo war ja einzelkind und die meisten Hobbits haben so viele kinder. Darum freud es mich um so mehr eien geschihte zzu lesen die meine teorie bestadigt. schön gemacht. ich hoffe du schreibst weiter. Author Reply: Vielen Dank! | Very very sweet chapter!!! sorry it took me so long to review it! Drogo is a great hobbit, worrying about his child! And Primula is so strong and confident - a real mother. And they're so much in love. The setting at the river was chosen very well, it fit the mood. The wind...*sigh* I get all romantic reading it. | I'm enjoying this story so much. It's impossible to forget about what will happen to this family... eventually... but little phrases like this -- "There is so much love and joy in his eyes I cannot do other but embrace and kiss him again."
