About the Tree pendant: I had the same idea! But I ended up cutting it out! Well, maybe my Muse plucked it out of the sizeable pile of scraps on my cutting-room floor saying, "SOMEbody should use this!" and gave it to your Muse? haha Silly cow, she should have let it be, I might have been able to use it elsewhere! Oh well, such is art *g* Really looking forward to that wedding........... ~~@***@~~ ~~*~@~@~*~~ ~~*~@~*~@~*~~ ~~*~@~@~*~~ ~~@***@~~ \{|}/ \|/ {} {} /||\ Author Reply: Aha--our muses are in communication with one another, you think? Great minds do think alike, don't they? ;-P Didn't show Pippin's wedding--just Ruvemir and Elise's in this one. Hope you don't mind! Thanks for the feedback!

You'd laugh if you heard how I was reading this thing. Because it is so big, I have had to copy it in pieces into my PDA, and as I read through each chapter, I delete it off the PDA so I will have room to load the rest of the story! I still haven't gotten the entire thing copied out into a word file (the format I download them to the PDA in) and the file is SO big, it almost doesn't load on my desktop! LOL! But, I am not complaining! I am delighted to have something steady and available to read whenever I find a spare moment and I will be very sad to finish it. Thank you again for this very satisfying tale. Author Reply: Oh, how wonderful! A blind friend has downloaded it to her Braille 'n' Speak, a sort of PDA designed for blind folk to use, and another to a BrailleNote, which has a braille readout. The first has it read to her in a synthesized voice, and the second reads it via the braille readout, so both also take the stories they read with them to read during odd times in the day. Am so glad you are finding the story satisfying enough to be willing to download it in bits and pieces! Thank you--that is very flattering indeed!

Ah, we move forward towards the wedding. Aragorn and Arwen are involving Ruvemir and Elise more and more and nicely going out of their way to make Elsie feel comfortable. But won't Elise's travelling with her husband encroach on her duties with the kings' babysitting duties? I'm sure though they can find others as well as her. Oh, I was glad yo be able to pass on what little art knowledge I have. SIL (sister-in-law) helped us make a cookie mold from a design we wanted. When we took it to the kiln it had to wait until they had a full load to fire the kiln up. That's the only way I'd ever know about keeping the clay a little moist until it's fired. ;-) Author Reply: It will be a time before they leave for the north, so Elise will have some time caring for the children beforehand. Arwen isn't planning to share the baby, I suspect, for the first month, not more than she has to. Yes, the kilns ought to be full before firing, or it can be a waste of time and money. Kilns aren't cheap to run.

Cute! The dream is a perfect ending. Just figures he'd dream of the shire and Frodo after all this time thinking about little else. The wedding plans are beautiful and a lovely detail to add to the story. I love that they're all so caring of others, especially the mannikins who wouldn't have known many others to care for them, but to tease them. The news of the shire was great. Gimli would be most interested in Pippin's doings, having rescued him. Will the next visit to the Shire maybe be for a wedding? Or will Pippin not wait long enough for foreign visitors? Anyway, great work, keep it up! Author Reply: Weddings do seem to be in the air, although I'm not certain Ruvemir will be able to attend that of Pippin and Diamond. Wish he could myself.

What a nice little respite from the intrigue of the last couple of chapters. I am really looking forward to this wedding... Author Reply: Yes, respite is nice, and I think Ruvemir is more ready for tthe wedding than we are, even.

Larner, You do not know how much a daily update of this wonderful story means to me. Work is tough just now and I get up daily at 5:00. Finding a new chapter means I go to work much more relaxed. THANK YOU! Your character development is excellent. I really care about them and hope this story lasts much, much longer. Author Reply: I certainly understand about work being tough, for it's been a bear for me as well. Wearing so many different hats isn't helping, either. But I'd not thought this story would prove more sustaining than caffeine in the morning!
