| Please, please, please write more! This story, Land of Light and Shadows, While the Ring Went South/During a Journey in the Dark... I reread all of them regularly, and it kills me that they stop when they do! I know sometimes inspiration just leaves you or real life gets in the way, but... please try to finish them! | Definitely a great story. I came about it by chance, wondered a bit if I really wanted to read such a long story, and then got so enthralled by it that I couldn't stop reading until the end. And then, while reading the last chapter, I felt a growing sense of unease as the end was approaching and there didn't seem to really be enough left to read to tie up all loose ends. And, in fact, it was unfinished. Now, THIS was really disappointing. Great story, as I said. But it really, REALLY deserves a proper ending. | |

| An excellent read! I thoroughly enjoyed this fic, however I am disappointed to see that it has no ending. I am very curious to see what happens...is there any hope for a conclusion, despite the time that has passed? Author Reply: First of all, many thanks for your interest! I'm glad you've enjoyed it so far. Second of all...this story is undergoing a major revamp because I can't quite get to the ending as things currently stand. And my other WIPs will probably be updated first, so I can't guarantee an update anytime in the near future. My sincere apologies! | |

| I don't know how long it's been since I first read this, nor the last time that you updated, but I will still beg for the concluding chapters of this story, not that it sounds that it is very close to a conclusion given the last sentence of the this chapter. I'm fairly certain it has been several years since I began reading this, and though I don't read much in the way of fanfiction anymore, I once again found myself completely enthralled by your storytelling skills. The mixture of humor, angst, and well-crafted wordplay has not only kept me constantly reading chapter after chapter but it has also led me on a more critical journey I may not have gone through in my earlier years. This time around, I felt more aware of the strategies behind your writing and thus better able to appreciate their ingenuity. You are a gifted writer, and I would love to see more of your work in the future... and particularly this story as you ended much on a rather unnerving, albeit exciting end. | |

| Hello, I am about as new as it gets, but better late than never I always say. I found this story and website through elfringham.dsl.pipex.com Celeborn, Lord of Lorien site (fantastic by the way) and like the rest of you, I can't get enough Tolkien or his Elves. Like many reviews I have already read for this story, I too am going to beg you to continue. Then again, I know what its like when life or internet access REALLY gets in the way (all work and no play makes me a dull girl) but this story is the "follow up" adventure to "Lord of the Rings" that many of us yearn for. So a continuation would be incredible if time can be found. ~AB | |
