| Nice turn of phrase: the strange beauty of a thing built for war It is amazing how much can be said in 100 words. Author Reply: I thought it's so ironic how armor and weapons and such can all be so beautifully crafted, yet they are indeed things made to kill others. I tried to capture the irony in this piece. Drabbles are really amazing...you don't need a long story to capture the heart and soul of a certain scene. I've tried to get it so my drabbles are exactly 100 words, but that never works. I always go over--there is still so much to say, sometimes. And I should stop leaving replies so long. Thanks for reading and reviewing!! | |
