Well, darn. Frodo's never going to get back on his feet -- fevers and arrows and Rings, oh my! :-)

I'm still following and still blown away, shirebound. You're doing a Phenominal job with this story! I still haven't seen an entire episode of Lost yet, and I'm actually glad I havent so I don't "get confused" by the storylines. LOL You know what's funny? I don't watch the show, but when it first started, I was working nights and Wednesday nights it would be on in the breakroom. And so I'd be on a break and see a bit here or there. And the one part I saw and remembered? (this is the funny part... and I'm going from memory with NO character names or nuthin. :D) The dark haired guy (I'm sure that helps!LOL) running into the jungle following his father (who wasn't on the plane... I think he was seeing things.)!!! Hello Merry! roflol! Amazing how that happens, eh? ::giggle:: And for those who "hate" cliffies..... Dem's da bestest parts! It keeps 'ya comin' back fer more!! LOVE LIVE SHIREBOUND'S VERSION OF LOST!!!! yikes. I'm a gush-monster today! LOL

I can't help but admire the way you've managed to integrate two separate universes in one story. I loved the appearance of the lmystery beast' - which we STILL haven't seen on 'Lost', by the way. I'm glad I came along for the ride on this one - cliffhangers and all. Well done!

Must...stop....urge....to .... throttle....janet.... Arrghh! I think Sam said it best in the last paragraph...."Nooooo!" I love cliffies....especially Frodo cliffies. Can't wait to see what happens next. I just had a thought...we are all just like our mothers used to be with soap operas (gasp) only with our fanfiction...he he he I think our addiction is much more interesting, tho'

This is great! It would make sense that Legolas could walk ontop of quicksand and not sink, like he can walk on snow. Hope Frodo will be okay. Does he still have his mithirl coat? I think so. Write more soon! :D S_M

Hey! wonderful chapter! I like the part with the quicksand not being able to sink Legolas, you just can't keep an elf down! I'm currently down with the flu, so this and the next episode of LOST is my only bright spot on the horizon. I wonder if there are more people like Eathan on the island, because John Lock seems to be telling everyone that there are on the previews. I just wonder why they don't want them to leave. I wonder if it has something to do with the disease the French woman, Daniel, was talking about. I'm glad they didn't kill Claire or Charlie, but you gotta admit that Eathan had it coming. Thanks for the wonderful update,I look foreward to reading the next one! Your faithful reader, hero worshiper, and fellow lost fan, Galidea ;D

AARGH! Evil evil cliffie! Is Frodo going to be okay? Very heroic actions by the Fellowship, especially Leggy and Gimli. I think it makes sense for an elf to be able to walk on quicksand, if they can walk on snow. I think you've done a good job of keeping the Fellowship in character. Everybody seems like themselves, just in the Lost setting. Now get back here and resolve the cliffie!
