I can tell you put much time and labor into writing this wonderful story. Thank you for doing so. I am totally addicted and find it hard to stop reading, but my lunch hour only lasts so long. Tari Author Reply: Yes, Tari - I poured heart and soul into this story, but to have a reader enjoy it as much as you do is worth the time and labor. :-) Thank you. Legolass p.s. Lol - I'm amazed you have enough willpower to only read fanfic during your lunch hour. I know of readers who have stayed up till the wee hours of the morning to finish reading a chapter or story, but perhaps you don't have Internet access at home, or you might find yourself being one of them! NOt a bad thing to have though: passion. :-)

It is as if Aragorn and Legolas can hear each other... I like this chapter, if only legolas knew he was being brought into a trap... Author Reply: He will know soon... Thank you for your continued reviews.

So far so good. This story has a great potential, but it can be lost by smallest mistake. If I remember corectly this is your first story, Legolass? If it is, than you are a talanted writer. I hope you will write more stories.... Keep going!!! Author Reply: Thanks for your review, Pearl. Not sure what you meant by "smallest mistake"...? but yes, this is my first story. It's finished now. Don't know when I might write another - still exhausted from writing this one because I poured my heart into it! :-) Thank you again.

Once again you outdid yourself. This story is just so different than most of those out there and I love how you have captured the characters. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Author Reply: You're very welcome. Hope you like the next chapter too, Angelelf.

Another good chapter -- getting to see Sarambaq's grief, and reminding us that again there are two sides to each war. I like how Legolas connects with the trees in the new forest -- wild, aloof -- excellent! And the connection that is formed between him and Aragorn, two friends who have been through the worst together. Lovely. Author Reply: Yes, there are always two sides in each war. Although that does not exclude the fact that one side may be more to blame than another, I can never forget that the soldiers are often pawns, no matter which side they are on. I was inspired by Tolkien himself, who articulated these thoughts through Sam, about who the fallen Southrons were, whether they had mothers, etc. I thought I should do this idea some justice. Thank you again for reviewing.
