| awwww, love this restrained faramir with eowyn. i thought he was a little fratboyish earlier in the story. keep up the good work. what is the song eowyn is singing? “Falewende…Is ná eower locfeax…” Giggling at her own absurdity, she murmured into the dip of his throat, “Ond blæwen is ná eower êage. Ge eart ná of min, Ac ge eart min ánum ond á ðý deórwyrþran…” i'm getting old, is the translation here? dying to know what she's saying..... Author Reply: Eowyn's song was in last chapter. But it's also in the complete translation at the end of this new chapter. :) Hope you enjoy it. | |

| Hi, just want to say I just love your story, I found it yesterday and ended up reading it until about 1 oclock in the morning! Your ideas and level of detail are amazing! I think I will have to print out your next submissions as I kept losing my place trying to read the translations on screen. Youve left this last story at a tantalising place, you tease!! (can't say I would have had the forbearance to do that!). When is the next chapter due out?, I'm waiting on tenterhooks to find out how Eowyn will cope in Gondor and if Faramir will finally get his Rohirric name. I'm glad that Faramir and Eomer have finally made it up, I was going to have to slap them if they carried on being so angsty! Author Reply: Thanks! :) I'm hoping to post the next chapter by this weekend. Actually, I liked this chapter a great deal - there's a nice slow development of character and relationships going on here. | Aaaaahhhh! They're back! I'm so glad whenever I open my e-mail and see a story update alert for your story. The reunion scene was wonderful, and I'm glad they got past the haircolor thing. And how very clever of Faramir to think of a manner in which to hurry the dye on it's way. I'm happy to see Faramir and Eomer getting on better, and developing a nice relationship. But I'm worried about how Faramir is going to smooth over the rift with his students. Is there still a problem there? And what is his final Rohiric name going to be?!?!? So many questions that I hope you will soon provide answers for. Thank you again for this beautiful, wonderful story!! Author Reply: LOL, Faramir was quick to suggest that, wasn't he? ;) Faramir and students will smooth things over soon, kind of, as soon as I can think of the perfect thing. lol. | No fair!! You can't just lead us on like that and leave us hanging! I've been waiting forever for this chapter and the wait was worth it. I like the "new" Eomer, even more than I like Faramir, I think. Speaking of Faramir, I was a little shocked at his reaction to Eowyn's new look. I'm such a sap, but I always figured he wouldn't care about stuff like that. Men are just so shallow! ;) Can't wait for the next chapter. Author Reply: Sorry. Hee. Aww, Eomer is sweet in this chapter and in the next, I promise. No more silly fights. :D lol. Faramir likes that golden hair. | Well you're forgiven for making us wait. I loved their reunion it was beautifully written; the whole intimacy was beautiful. I loved Faramir's reaction to Eowyn's new hair color. That was great. I am just a sentimental sap, but you had me tearing up. Don't make us wait so long, you are really cruel. I had given up hope of ever see a new chapter or the reunion of Faramir and Eowyn. But, without your story as a pleasant distraction I have gotten a lot of things done. Anyway, thank you for the new chapter. Author Reply: Aw. I'll try not to make you wait very long. | Oh you tease! You tease! I do hope we get a follow through in the next chapter if you know what I mean. I love the tub scene and can't wait to read what Eowyn's song about Faramir means. I also loved the bits with Thorn. Yes I'm a sucker for animals. Thanks for updating. I hope we don't have to wait too long for the next chapter. | Girl! You do NOT lead people on like that with candles and romance and warm baths and then leave them hanging!! Go sit down and write up the next chapter right now. Okay, now that that's out of my system, I must say that I really loved this chapter. Gaer's line of "Go with her or this time i will kill you and take your place" was my favorite line. I also loved the men's reaction to Eowyn's hair, how all of the activity just stopped when they saw. Reminds me of the time I chopped all of my hair off-everyone just freaked out. :) I liked how tactful Eowyn was about asking for a bigger tub, but I can just imagine the women getting back to the kitchen or wherever and giggling like mad about Eowyn and her paramour getting it on in the bath. Lol. Eomer is turning into a real sweetheart, which is a good thing. We need more sweet and charming Eomer. Heaven help him when he meets Lothiriel. Well, that's all I can think of to say right now. If I think of anything else, I'll leave another comment. Oh-you ought to get a LiveJournal and join the Faramir communities online. Those are really cool. :) Great chapter, and hurry up on the next one!! Author Reply: LOL.
