| The grief of illness, the lingering poison of the Ring, and the physical pain together have certainly left Frodo troubled indeed--and then to have to accept treatment from an S-B! Poor Hobbit! Am glad the doctor appears to be basically honorable, unlike a couple others we know of. And I find I like the chapters starting with the journal entries, followed so closely by the details of what is happening. Author Reply: Thank you! I started writing the first journal entry to begin the story, and I wasn't sure if it was going to work or seem cheesy. Apparently it's effective. People seem to like the format and the story. :) Thanks for reading! | |
