| Oh, Armariel! *sob* How sad...but how sweet! Yes, I can imagine Frodo feeling these things as he says good-bye to Elanor, the nearest thing he ever had to a daughter. | I'd not read this before. Oh, it is so appropriate a prayer from Frodo for Elanor and his beloved Sam. Author Reply: I'd love to believe Elanor was a tremendous comfort to Sam...hope so anyway.
