| Seems as if there were no ways for Frodo to escape the pain on that day, were there? :'( 'Tis such a heartwrenching angst. Thank you, Lily. Author Reply: I never believed Frodo could escape his pain. Perhaps that were times he could ease it but certainly not on a day like 6th October. | |

| Powerful and dark and painful. Poor Frodo, no wonder he had to sail to the west. Author Reply: I wanted to show a reason behind his decision - one that is not too obvious (to Sam and everybody close to him) but still painful enough to realise that true healing cannot be found in the Shire. | |

| *gasp* Oh......That's so sad. So true. I thought that I didn't want Frodo to leave Middle Earth, but if he's suffering things like this, I suppose it's better the way it is. *sad sigh* Wonderful job, as always. I could see and hear the things poor Frodo was seeing and hearing. You certainly have a way of affecting me, don't ya? Author Reply: The fact that Frodo leaves Middle-earth always broke my heart. Knowing that Frodo loved the Shire and all I thought there must be some grievous reasons why he still leaves all he loves behind. It seems I have a way of affecting you :) And I'm very glad you're enjoying the tales I tell. | |

| Ohh, better than ever I can understand why Frodo left in the end! Poor brave hobbit! Going through all of this and yet never being free again of the shadow... This was brilliantly written, capturing in its suspense. I loved the images and descriptions Author Reply: Thanks a lot. I'm glad it helped you to understand better why he left.
