Yes, I couldn't really come up with any solid reasons for them wanting to stay. I always pictured them as very honorable so I saw them sailing West instead to just sticking around to die. | |

| I loved the ending, Alisha. Very sad - especially them missing Aragorn's death, and arriving too late to comfort Arwen - but I'm so glad that the twins finally chose immortality. Above all, I'm glad they stayed together! I can't imagine them parting. Jay Author Reply: Thank you so much! I had always wondered if the twins were present at Aragorn's death. The Appendix doesn't mention them being there. It caught my attention that it didn't specifically say Arwen said good bye to her brothers, just "to all whom she had loved." I had fun playing around with it. Anyway, I'm glad you liked the ending!! | |
