| What would Frodo do without Sam? I think Sam is the real hero of the whole story, he was the most faithful and least corrupted. Of course I realize Frodo was the primary Ringbearer and could hardly help being affected, but it's true that we wouldn't have gotten anywhere without his gardener! <>< Saved from sin through Christ, MJ Author Reply: i haven`t explored Sam and Frodo`s relationship much - there are so many others who do that, and do it wonderful, so I mostly stick to Merry, but this was written on request for a Sam-lover. And I agree with you, Sam is the overall hero of the story. :) | |
