| Awwww. Faramir's in wuv. Seriously, a great vignette! You captured Faramir's frustration and helplessness in the situation well, and conveyed that Faramir's cause is not as lost as he thinks. Nice comparison of Eowyn to a skittish foal. I really liked Faramir's conversation with the Warden; the way you wrote Faramir as feeling frustrated and a bit bitter, not wanting to risk further hurt from Eowyn, but also barely holding himself back from quickly returning to her, he just needs a littttttle excuse, and he'll be off like a shot, and here he gets it. Sorry it took me so long to respond to this-- RL's been giving me a beating lately, so I've been having to avoid pretty much everything fanfic, sadly. :( I couldn't resist the foal comparison--thought that with her being from Rohan, it was rather appropriate, so I'm glad it worked well. And I think my Faramir muse was getting frustrated with how things were going in AAOD, especially since my Eowyn ended up being so utterly clueless, so of course that would naturally come out. ;) Seriously, thanks. :) | |
