| Yay! I absolutely adore the 'Quarantined' universe! And alternate universes are indeed quite flexible. :) I love your ranger character, Thalguron. It was fun to see his reaction to Estel greeting the hobbits. So, Merry and Frodo know a way into the old forest? What have those two been up to, hmm? Definitely looking forward to the next chapter. I wonder what tortures our poor Frodo will be put through this time... ;D | |

| Oh, hello again, Shirebound! thanks for writing this fic. . . I love the "Quarantined" universe. It's still one of my all-time favorite universes to visit. "Thalguron stared in open-mouthed astonishment. Although he had seen Aragorn smile, and even laugh on occasion, he had never witnessed such joy on his captain’s face. He found himself grinning at the sight of his usually grim-faced captain whirling the hobbit lad about and laughing, the dog barking excitedly and leaping around Aragorn’s legs." I very much like this POV. It's a wonderful new perspective on this relatonship. We get to see Aragorn and Frodo's affection for each other through new eyes and it seems as fresh and marvelous as the first time I read a Quarantined chapter. I hope we get lots more. | Eeee, I'm so excited to see more in this universe! I loved, loved, loved Frodo running out and the other ranger's expression when the usually serious Aragorn turned all soppy. :) Can't wait for more . . . the Old Forest has always intrigued me. | How lovely - a new story in this universe! I love Merry, who is so brave and confident, and I found myself giggling at Foro's reply to Aragorn: “Frodo, you do feed this pup, don’t you?” Aragorn chuckled, bending down to gently dislodge Scamp’s teeth from one of his boots. “Of course,” Frodo said indignantly. “Bilbo and I keep her on a steady diet of Ranger bootlaces so she’ll always be able to find you.” Ranger bootlaces! :-)) Looking forward to more soon. | |
