Oh, Bilbo is such an amazing story teller! The voice is just perfect here, Dreamflower! And that story is sooo funny! Poor Bandy and Ferry! I guess they deserved what they got, but...:) It's a good thing it wasn't worse. And wee! Pippin is so sweet I could just eat him up! :) God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: I'm glad you like my "Bilbo voice". He is one of my favorite characters to write. You are right, it could have been far worse for those two! But Ferry was destined to become a Thain, and Bandy was fated to fight goblins--so they were spared! I do adore wee!Pippin. I think he must have been absolutely *lethal* as a faunt--I can't imagine anyone resisting those big green eyes.

Lovely tale as to how the Bullroarer got his name, and loved the reminder by Frodo that Merry ought not to do the same thing. Author Reply: I'm glad you liked the little tale. I'm sure that Frodo was an expert at seeing ideas hatch in Merry's head, and knowing when they would be *bad* ones, LOL!

Awww. It's the eyelashes, they do it to me every time... *snork* What a lovely "Just So" story! Author Reply: I imagine Pippin as a faunt was a deadly weapon: big green eyes, long eyelashes, sweet smile, baby talk, absolute trust--a lethal combination, and I don't much think *anyone* would have been proof against it except *perhaps* his mother!

Oh, this is so adorable! :) I love your observations about why Pippin likes Bilbo's stories. That's so true of small children: you can tell them anything in the world, and provided you use the right voice, they will be utterly fascinated. :) The story of how the Bullroarer got his name is just grand, and I can almost hear it in Bilbo's voice. And I'm almost certain, now, that Merry is up to something. ;) Another lovely and well-characterized tale! Blessings, Eruanna Author Reply: Merry was thinking about the stunt they pulled, and possibly wondering if *he* could challenge a bull that way. But Frodo read his mind, and put a stop to it before it hatched, LOL! I am frustrated with the story right now, because part of it is out of order, and I can't seem to fix it. If I have to take it down to fix, and lose your lovely review, you will understand why. I hope I can fix it without that. Author Reply: Yay! It's fixed!
