Oh my god...this is such a wonderful piece. I'm new, and I've never read any Eowyn & Faramir pairings before, but this looked interesting so I had to. It's taken me almost 2 weeks, but I've read everything now and I love it. I can't wait to see what happens when Eowyn leaves. I hope that she finds herself on this journey. Eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Wonderful job :) Nita Author Reply: Thank you! I'm updating today and this time the format isn't doing that horrible back and forth thing, so hopefully you can enjoy it better.

This chapter is beyond great! I'm sorry for not reviewing sooner; I read this chapter as soon as it was posted, but had to go to work right afterward. Then I kept forgetting.....sorry. But like I said, this was all spectacular. Faramir keeps getting closer to Eowyn as well as Eomer. I wonder how it is all going to work once Eowyn leaves... the suspense of that moment is killing me. :) Swordfighting with Eomer.... Yes, I suppose men would lose on purpose. However, if I was Eomer and had lost to a knight, I'd make the man one of my personal guard. That would seem the best place for him. :) And archery.... Nothing is ever said of Eomer's archery skills, so that's up for debate, but Legolas does say in TTT that the Rohirrim have some good bowmen after their own fashion. No doubt Faramir would be better, but I'm not counting on Eomer being absolutely terrible at it. Unless, of course, you wish him to be. :) I probably would have had much more to say if I reviewed right after reading.... but anyway, I cannot wait for the next chapter to be posted, as always. :) Author Reply: Well, I would think that if Eomer is as good with a blade to be comparable to Aragorn at Helm's Deep that he would have concentrated on the sword and not spent as much time with the bow. Heh, we can't all be good at everything! Anyway, I've used that thinking in this story. Eomer's not bad, but he's definitely better with a sword. Faramir is much better with a bow, don't grey-eyed people make the best sharp-shooters? I think Faramir is the middle-earth equivalent of that. He's got great aim.

Oh wilst thou leave me so unsatisfied? That was a very sexy chapter with tons of fore play but no resolution. When oh when? I ask. I am reading this for more than the romance...really! Ok fave bits. I loved the scene with Eomer and Faramir when Eomer welcomes Faramir to the family. That was really well done. I've been waiting for that bit for quite some time. I also liked Faramir remembering about singing with his Father. Poor Denethor what did turn him against his son? Finduilas' death, the seeing stone? I'd love to know although I know that isn't a focus of this story. I also liked the scene in the boat (big shocker there!) although I was waiting for them to pull up to some grassy bank for a little while. ;) I'm anxiously waiting for Eowyn to tell her brother and Faramir about her trip to Minas Tirith. What's Faramir going to do when she leaves? Your chapter made it pretty clear that Faramir's time in Rohan is coming to an end. Doesn't he have a job to get back to? He's already doned his old clothes. I'm glad yo didn't spend too much time on Arwen in this chapter. She's been useful to the plot but I don't find her character terribly interesting. Just a personal preference. Thorn on the other hand...! Love him. I hope that Faramir gets to take him home. Looking forward to more chapters. I'll be your done school now? So does that mean we'll get more frequent updates? Oh please oh please! Author Reply: LOL, sorry but I've been asked to keep the sex until the wedding night. I know, it's a wait, but won't the anticipation just kill you? :) Eh, Arwen is Arwen. I never thought her character was hugely interesting in anything I've read (I'm very sure there are some writers who make her so!) but I try to at least have her serve a purpose. Oh, more Thorn in chapter 73. I'm not sure if Faramir takes him or not. I would have updated sooner than this but I've been incredibly busy. It's breeding and foaling season on the farm I work on, so you can imagine with 47 animals that I've got my hands full and we've only had four of the ten expected foals come! I'll try and update soon, this chapter was very fun and the next will be just as or more. :)

I really liked this chapter, especially the little boat trip. Reminded me of something far less innocent I did once! :) Loved the swordfighting competition with Eomer. Doesn't he know that everyone in the Mark is going to lose on purpose...so as to not embarrass the King? Heh. Can't wait to see Faramir show off his archery skills. That Eomer has no clue...wood and string indeed. I'm a little bit of a Denethor apologist, so I was happy to see Faramir have at least some memory of a time when his father wasn't an ogre. Author Reply: LOL, I forgot that everyone would lose! :D I'm sure they put up somewhat of a fight, anyway, so not to make it clear they were just copping out. Eomer's a tad oblivious, big lug that he is. :D Oh, yes, I want to paint Denethor as being a good father when Faramir was young and his mother was still alive. I think that being left alone with two young boys and a kingdom under a growing power of the Dark Lord was very giant responsibility. Maybe Denethor handled it in the only way he could, by holding onto his favorite child and becoming cold. More memories to come later. And more Boromir soon. :)

Well, it's taken me about two days to read this, but I must say, I love this chapter. The faire reminds me of the local Renaissance Faire, and that makes me grin. I love how Eomer was sword fighting, and I think that he should try shooting against Faramir. That could be fun. :) When is Aragorn coming back, and is Eomer's decision to let Faramir go home with him going to affect Eowyn's plans in any way? That has me curious. I'm also curious to know if Aragorn will make it to the faire. I can't wait to see what you come up with. Faramir asking Eowyn to help him with his students was sweet, but I'm surorised that there are no translations at the bottom of the page! What was it she said to the lad? Great chapter, and I hope you update soon! Author Reply: Hehe, I don't think Eomer could even stand a chance in an archery competition with Faramir ;) Aragorn probably has returned to Edoras already, lol. Right now I suppose he's playing games with Imrahil and getting mighty bored. He could ride on to the festival...I'd not thought of it, but that would make a wonderful surprise for Arwen. :) We'll see. Sorry about the trans. She asked him basically, "What was the name of such a generous man?" and then she told him it was an honorable name. More students later, hehe, Faramir has one more idea of how to patch up things using Eowyn. Well, I've plenty of time to write this summer since I haven't gotten a job yet.

I enjoyed this chapter better than the previous one...It was refreshing to have Faramir and Eowyn becoming more comfortable with being with each other and not having some kind of sexual activity. At this point, I'd prefer to see less of that - they've gone as far as they can go, in terms of new sexual experience without her doing oral sex (which, frankly, I really would prefer not to read about; can't remember if Faramir has done so yet in this story) or actual intercourse (which I really wanted, and thought should be, given who they are, saved for the wedding night)... I had thought that there would be some kind of danger in which Faramir and Eomer would both be involved. I think the story would benefit from a dose of actual physical peril (greater than Oswyn, that is); and then of course I'm a sucker for a good male-bonding episode. And I really, really, want to see Faramir show off his archery skills to the Rohirrim, and show that there's something he can do better than any of them... Nice flashback about little Faramir's bathing activities, and boats... Faramir isn't a good singer? There's no indication in Tolkien's books that he couldn't sing at least reasonably well; he probably wouldn't have had an interest in music, which JRRT mentioned, if he'd been a 'tuneless' singer... Looking forward to the next chapter. Author Reply: Heh, frankly, I don't want to write about any oral sex, either. Kinda skivvy. I think I did reassure Adamas in an earlier review that the sex will be on the wedding night. Faramir and Eomer's danger is happening after Eowyn leaves, which is very soon. Faramir gets to show off his archery probably next chapter, completely blowing them away. :) More bonding with Faramir and Eomer when Arwen and Eowyn go off to do their own thing. Well, you don't have to be able to sing to appreciate music, I think. Plus, Faramir is not as bad as he thinks.

First of all, I have to say thank you! I was so happy to see that you updated the story that I actually had tears in my eyes. I loved the way you had Faramir and Eowyn interacting in such a relaxed manner and Eomer's eventual acceptance was beautiful. Can't wait for the next update (it's going to be good, I can feel it) so, keep writing! PS I have to say you have quite a talent for getting to the heart of sexual misgivings- Eowyn's are totally believable and the way you write about her and Faramir trying to get over them is wonderful. I seriously doubt many others could write what you write with such grace. KEEP WRITING! :) Author Reply: You're welcome! :) And I will.
