Dear Legolass I loved Gimli here. His blunt direct way, sometimes gruff from the outside, but at the same time very sensitive and perceptive. Good old Gimli, he is just the right person to give Legolas some distraction and reprieve from his pain. I love seeing them three together any time. Aragorn's fear of losing Legolas hit very hard there.

Hmmm, I don't recall if you ever said this story was AU. I feel the same disquiet as Aragorn at the thought of Legolas being forced to seek healing in the West. I almost can't believe he would do it before Aragorn's death unless his hurt became completely disabling. I hope there is more exposition about the exact nature of Sarambaq's incantation and what it is meant to do. --Anxiously awaiting what happens next. ~TF Author Reply: Hi, TF ~ THis story is really getting near its end, so I'm going to leave the incantation to our imagination -- after all, not everything about the nature of the Morgul blade used on Frodo was clear to us. But as for what happens next ... I guess we'll have to wait and see... Thank you for dropping in. :-)

This is one of my favorite stories! I am always excited to see a new chapter. And this has to be one of the most beautiful sentences I've ever read: "His eyes looked out over the small lake in front of them, following the dance of white blossoms from nearby trees as they waltzed their way to the rippled surface of the water, led by the music of a gentle breeze." You're a very good writer! I look forward to more. Thanks! Author Reply: Thank you, Kay - both for your visit and your kind words. This story will not have mcuh further to go - hope to see you at the finish line. :-)
