ooo yummy "c" and i love fevers. >=) poor Pippin! i'm just glad everyone is there to help him. :) And i'm glad for the detail with no smoking --indeed that will not help breathing or healing of his ribs... =) I liked this chapter a lot. Author Reply: You love fevers? LOL! I'll try to remember that :D I thought the "no smoking" bit was something integral to Pippin's recovery and yet I couldn't remember seeing it in any Cormallen fics that I'd read. So I had to include it here - and I'm glad you liked it too :) I love all these reviews you're leaving me! Thanks :D

This story is wonderful! It has angst, humour and emotion - everything a good story needs. I love the scene with Gandalf and Merry where the wizard talks about Pippin's inquisitiveness. First of all, because I love this scene in the book and because it has so much meaning in this story. And of course I love the stars and I just adore the idea of Pippin having two of them especially for himself. I like how they find him and lurk him into following them. Such a wonderful scene! Such a great story! Author Reply: I'm very glad you enjoyed that scene with Gandalf and Merry. I think that Gandalf would have wanted to reassure Merry as best as he could, but also prepare him if things went bad (and thankfully they didn't!). And as for the stars, they first came into Pippin's life in "Stars and Sniffles," so it's as if a couple of old friends are visiting him :) I'm so glad you're reading this, Lily - and that you're enjoying it! I've told you how much this story means to me, and I really appreciate your feedback on it. Thank you! :D

Hopefully the lung itself was not pierced. Poor Peregrin. Love the writing. Author Reply: Thanks for all your comments tonight, Larner! You're so encouraging to a writer! :)

Glad to see an update to this. I must say you have one thing very accurate, and that is the unexpected, sharp pains that happen when a person has had a traumatic injury. Reading those descriptions brought it back to me quite clearly.:) Thanks again. Connie B. Author Reply: I'm sorry if it stirred up bad memories for you, but I'm grateful that you think I'm portraying Pippin's recovery in an accurate way. Thank you for reading and leaving such lovely comments :)

Ohhh, how helpless Pippin's friends must feel! They all want to make him all better, and have "their Pippin" back, well and happy and irrepressible as always. I'm glad Pippin is being honest about the fact that he's in pain. And will Strider have time or energy to help Merry with his hand? Cormallen fics... I do love them. :D Author Reply: Yes, they certainly do feel helpless, because Pippin really does need time and rest in order to get better, and there is no way of speeding that up. As for Merry, well, you'll just have to wait and see ;) Thanks for reading!
